I also agree that bitcoins is better than gold because the growth of cryptocurrency in the market is much faster more than gold and there are more people who are investing on bitcoins rather than using their own capital to buy gold and earn just a small amount of profit because it was also hard to resell since it was a physical item.

I think both have their own importance. Bitcoin is good to be use for shopping throughout the world, without changing it into any other fiat currency, while gold is good for holding, because gold has a stable price and we can observe a very slight change in the price of bitcoin.

Personally, I am tired of seeing this question again and again, yet it doesn't change the fact that regardless of which is better than the other, it will all just boils down to the user, what is the user's needs, it is profitability, stability, portability or other purposes like currency and jewelry, at the end of the day the user will be the one to answer that and definitely, different folks, different strokes, different points of view and answers. I think the value of bitcoin and gold is much different, for me if gold only makes ornaments or saves money. Similarly, the selling price of Gold will fall from the purchase price.

Besides being fast it is also secure and anonymous unlike gold that might get rob down the road.
And with it's decentralized feature it is not regulated by governments unlike gold.
