Hi guys There has not been any update for a while, so I said to myself that I would check a little how are you holding up and what are you up to

Everything is well and going according to the plan? You are all well and successfully avoiding getting COVID-19? Any update in sight for DNotes, DCEBrief or HERo that we can look forward to? 

Now with the lockdown, because of COVID-19, I believe it would be great opportunity to further promote HERo and gain new members, since a lot of people are at home now and online more than usual At least here in Europe Bus as far as I hear in the media, situation in the USA is similar?

Maybe it would be beneficial to do some cool, educational videos for HERo, to add some extra cool features to the page. I have noticed that number of members did not go significantly up in the last month or so, that would maybe help in some way. I believe that new members will come, if they find something useful and unique, with great added value on the site, which they cannot already find on the other sites

How is DNotes trading boot doing? Is there a plan to also add Binance support? Since it is very popular exchange it would be nice feature to have


Well anyway, stay healthy and in high spirits, and do not forget to see this situation with Corona virus not as problem, but as opportunity. If you look it that way I am sure that you can come out of it even stronger  Heck, I even managed to get a little raise in my salary because of COVID-19  I also managed to increase number of my connections on LinkedIn above 25k in this times, get two new job offers and made some new friends and strengthen bonds with some old ones, regardless of the lockdown, so everything is possible, you just have to see it through the right perspective and positive mindset

In the folder:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DNotes2
Edit the dnotes.conf and paste in the list of nodes just as it is above, formatted addnode=IPADDRESS.
If you don't have a dnotes.conf, right click in the folder, click New, then click Text Document. Rename the file to dnotes.conf, all lowercase. Right click and click open with, then select more apps and select notepad. Then you can paste in the list of nodes, close and save the file.

There has been an issue on DNotes Blockchain, and appears to be compromised as someone has generated a large amount of DNotes. The rest of the stakers should reject block rewards that don't follow the same block reward rules but there may have not been enough staking at the time, and I am looking into options of what actions we can take to help resolve the situation.

I have emailed my contacts at STEX and Mercatox, recommending that they halt DNotes withdrawals and deposits at this time.

Unfortunately, to fix the DNotes blockchain would require a fork, rebuilding of the wallets and servers, and getting the exchanges to update and there would be a significant cost involved. It doesn't look like anyone is going to fund the update to bring it back to normal operation.

Just to provide some information on what happened. It looks like someone purchased or otherwise acquired a large amount of DNotes, then was able to gain control of the blockchain with majority staking. Without a lot of people staking and supporting the network, they were able to generate their own block reward and essentially doubled the amount of DNotes maliciously. We will continue to keep DNotesVault open for the next 6 months, and I will do what I can to keep the network running, notifying DNotesVault users that should withdraw if they would like to keep their coins. After the 6 months, I will do what I can, but you will have to email me directly at contact@dnotescoin.com.
