研究发现,食用杏仁、山核桃、胡桃、榛果和腰果等木本坚果,与大幅降低大肠癌复发风险有关。
这份观察报告的研究对象为826名曾经接受第三期大肠癌治疗的患者,治疗内容通常包含手术和化疗。这些癌细胞尚未扩散到身体其他部位的患者,在接受治疗后三年存活率通常有70%。约19%的患者每周会食用2盎司(约56.7公克)或更多各种坚果。
报告显示,这些食用坚果的人癌症复发机率降低42%,死亡率也比完成癌症疗程却没有食用坚果的患者低57%。
