Hi All.

Is it ok to post here if I use my already posted article in some other forum.
Off course I will maintain in disclaimer, that where I posted this article first and direct link to that forum.

In this way, I am re using my original work in this forum (not copy/pasting others), just want to know what the forum guidelines say about it.

I read the rules they only say that: (nothing written about re use so want to be sure)

33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]

I can't speak for the Mods, but I think this should be okay. If you can establish some sort of proof that the other forum's account belongs to you, it's by definition not plagiarism.
You should include a link and short explanation to all copied posts, to avoid confusion. Or just use quote-tags anyway.

One warning: I think you should limit this to relevant posts, and don't use it to increase your post count only. It shouldn't look like spam.

Copy-paste post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2965891.msg30570860#msg30570860
Few places in the world accommodate profitable cryptocurrency mining. With most governments not taking kindly to Bitcoin, there are fewer locations available. In Canada, the Powerview-Pine Falls are suddenly of great interest. More specifically, the community of 1,300 residents has seen an influx of cryptocurrency miners. It is a surprising turn of events, yet a welcome one for the small town. Since there is no real use for the power line, it was never fully decommissioned either. The mayor admits most people forgot it was even there to begin with. Luckily, it now gets a second lease on life thanks to cryptocurrency mining firms. Low temperatures and hydroelectricity in abundance create a profitable environment for these types of ventures. With the value of Bitcoin and consorts soaring, cryptocurrency mining has become a lot more popular. Especially Chinese operators show a big interest in this particular location. Bitmain is rumored to be in talks with the Quebec authorities to set up hop. Toronto’s own Hut 8 mining Corp is also involved in some discussions as of right now. All of this is positive news for Powerview-Pine Falls. A new type of heavy industry will create new jobs and put old infrastructure to good use.

For now, nothing has been set in stone yet. There is a healthy mix of operations, both large and small. One firm even offered to sue all of the available electricity and pay good money for it. Whether or not any deals will be inked, remains to be seen. It is an exciting opportunity for Powerview-Pine Falls, although it remains to be seen what the future holds. Its hydroelectricity and dedicated infrastructure certainly make for an appealing location. Additionally, more jobs can only be considered to be a good thing as well.

One has to keep the brief history of Powerview-Pine Falls into account. The city used to provide a lot of jobs due to a local paper mill. When it shut down in 2009, a void was created, resulting in 250 unemployed individuals. Additionally, the tax base took a massive dip by as much as 40%. Recovering from such a situation is never easy. However, the transmission lines providing 84 megawatts of electricity to the town.

On average, it takes about 10 minutes to find each block. The average block time can actually be slightly shorter or longer depending on if the total hash power of the Bitcoin network is growing or shrinking. Ignoring this detail though, this is why 6 confirmations take about 1 hour on average.

Copypaste plagiarist and probable bot #1840335 “Abrham1123” (reported to mod and archived for reference; list of recent posts archived for reference):

who creates testnet coins?
You. Your wallet can mine it. Anyone who cares to keep the test environment alive.

If they have no value, I'm sure there would be no incentive to mine them
The incentive is the safe testing environment.

- so where exactly do they come from? Who holds them, and why?
From mining. Anyone can hold. You can get 50+btc testnet coins if you like.

What is the testnet supply cap?
Same as BTC

why doesn't the testnet coin immediately gain some form of value (since it is scarce and acts exactly like BTC)?
Because it's only for testing. No one will accept something that can be reset, recoded or rewritten at any moment.

Original (got a +11; are any bots set to target these now?):

Let me dumb it down.

Newbie Katebell001 is no doubt a scammer: he copied a testimony for one service and changed the service name to something else. That's as untrustworthy as it gets.

This member Adine.lablab deserves to get banned copied and pasted his/her reply from a mining guide site called bitcoinmining.com

Adine.lablab's post

Where do bitcoins come from? With paper money, a government decides when to print and distribute money. Bitcoin doesn't have a central government.
With Bitcoin, miners use special software to solve math problems and are issued a certain number of bitcoins in exchange. This provides a smart way to issue the currency and also creates an incentive for more people to mine.

That's because it's still experimental and there is a chance to lose all funds you put in there.
I'm curious to see how this will develop in the future: if many exchanges support LN, I see no reason to keep any funds on a non-Lightning hot wallet anymore. It will be directly from on-chain cold storage to LN and if needed back to on-chain cold storage. Wink

The Forum is same as like of Bitcointalk.

Since he's only trying to steal users, traffic and content from this site, I'd say he should be nuked.

Most idiots have misinterpreted the Prime minister's statement. He had said that if India manages to bring back all the black money,it would be equivalent to Rs.1.5 million per person of the country. All I know is if I ever visit India I'm getting one of those head massages that the barbers give.

This user has just copy-pasted my last post in the thread...
https://i.imgur.com/UwwmobE.jpg
Original post:
Status update:
I've received the Raspberry PI, I've managed to set it up, so it's working, but there's nothing installed yet in connection with bitcoin. I've used this install guide, it was really straightforward and was easy to follow.
https://medium.com/@stadicus/noobs-guide-to-️-lightning️-on-a-raspberry-pi-f0ab7525586e
What I'm reading now is a so called neutrino light client which is not a full node but something like a pruned one without the full blockchain, it connects to other nodes to gather the necessary information about blockchain. If I use this, the 16Gb SD card in the Raspberry PI will be enough to run a bitcoin node with LN hub installed. (I understand that running a full node will be necessary in the future, but now I would like to test only, so it's enough for that purpose.)

It looks like this user copies posts from other websites without providing source. I have already checked his other posts that aren't copied from somewhere else, they are short and could be considered as spam.

Sharing news to create a new thread without providing any source, looks like copy-paste to me.

Newbie Ziovo has the copyright violation of the year: he copied this forum!

Link where he admits it's his forum:
Hello Guys I am the admin of the Newly founded Forum http://www.discussbitcoin.org/

And I am looking for Moderators in my Forum.

The Forum is same as like of Bitcointalk.

Since he's only trying to steal users, traffic and content from this site, I'd say he should be nuked.

Not sure he deserves nuking but probably negative feedback. Not really for the forum but it seems he's trying to scam users into joining his site with the hope that they can become a moderator that earns 0.1 a month. Only to become a moderator you need to make a load of posts and threads and he likely has absolutely no intention of paying anyone anything and just wants to drive activity and traffic there for free.
