Essentially you are using the computational power of your CPU, GPU or other specialized equipment to solve complex mathematical problems created by the blockchain and compensated for doing so in the currency of that blockchain. Lots of info on the web or Youtube.

you need a a gpu rig which is a computer that run with 6 gpu and mine the altcoin, you sell these altcoin for bitcoin on exchange and get your profit, thise gpu miners are expensive, if you don't have $1500 ready to invest forget about it, yes you can  always mine with one gpu but don't expect huge profit

Ive been mining with two rx480's and so far im making 120-130$ a month on nicehash, im setting up another rx 480 i couldnt fit on a riser extender, so im expecting atleast 150-60 a month and im always on my computer anyway so its profitability for someone who doesnt pay electric and uses computer all day. I got some asics on the way as well but gpu mining isnt dead yet.
(edit) ended up making 190-215$ a month now. randomly jumpes from 7.10$ a day to 11.28$ a day sometimes.

He already summarized how mining works.
But for your reference, you can check some online mining calculators -

http://www.coinwarz.com
https://whattomine.com/

You need to integrate the electricity bill as that is the major factor in determining if it's worth running a mining rig.
And if you have free electricity, why not? You will just spend good money for your equipment.

For the begining, the best way is Google, our friend : many howto, n many languages.

Bitcoin + privacy respect = BitcoinZ (topic BitcoinZ)
The only decentralized crypto that complements Bitcoin on privacy.
You missed Bitcoin in 2009 ? Do not miss BitcoinZ in 2018 !

That ain't true at all. You must buy a good GPU, just one if you can't afford more, check out this forum often and you'll learn a lot. I'll explain mining to you with an analogy.

Let's say Bitcoin is the US dollar. They all go through banks and the government (so pretty centralized) and so through the hands of clerks, accountants, etc. These people handle your transactions, they make the money move and all that. In the Bitcoin "banking system" there are no actual banks and government but the clerks exist, they are the miners. They take care of the transactions and make sure the network is staying stable. They establish the consensus of who has what money but here everything is decentralized, there is no government that can shut it down.

Guys, need answers to my questions. Ang mining ba ay kailangan maglabas ng malaking pera o hindi kailangan na malaki? at dapat subaybayan palagi? bukod sa maganda ang computer.

Need Question kasi nalaman ko na yung kapatid ko susubok na siya sa mining.
