The POS (it has own difficulty) is working more or less the same as POW - it should mine a block! In this case the wallet has to be online and unlocked if you encrypted it.
The wallet will show you the amount of stake under the POS - I could post a photo later today ( if someone on the forum using POS minting pls post a photo)!
The POS reward - 10% annual from the unused coins (staked)

I just noticed that the network is creating blocks about every 2 minutes... shouldn't it be every 15 minutes??

INFO

    Scrypt-Jane coin
    No ASIC miners
    Proof-of-Work (CachePOW) and Proof-of-Stake Mining
    Block Reward: Inversely proportional to the difficulty
    Difficulty adjustment every block
    Difficulty Adjustment algorithm: Logarithmic
    Target of 15 minute block generation
    Maximum of ~10 Million coins supply (modified in May 2017)
    Block Maturity: 520 Confirms
    Transaction Maturity: 6 Confirmations
    Coin age to Stake: 7 Days
    RPCPort: 2224
    Network Port: 2225

24 hour * 60 min / 15 per block = 96 block per day.

No matter how much time is spent searching for a block. The network will not give you more than 96 blocks a day.

Really...  That seams at odds with the fact that we found 452 blocks yesterday

Referring to the current speed and difficulty - sure, the time of block approx. 2 min, so why we were planning to change the POW to stabilize network: difficulty changes more flexible according to the network speed ( stable time of block, less orphans and etc).

Leave it working for some hours (better for 24 hours)! Wallet will calculate the time of your coins and put some coins for stake!

A block in a network does not mean new coins. The network block contains information about transactions.
But according to the developer's statement there can not be more than 96 blocks with new coins per day. Like this: http://cerberus.ageleis.de/tx/f44d7a356613139a9a5a6aa6213c00a469c199e3e5fc9c8df3d0b56f6995441b

I personally did not recalculate transactions with new coins per day. You can check it yourself.

This is interesting..  then something changed

block 100000  9th Aug 2015 13:46:15
block 140000 21st Sep 2016 19:45:27

avg 14.73298 minutes per block...  what changed, the network WAS stable?

any way to fix wallet when its almost sync complete it crash i also try bootstrap did not work i try dl blockchain again it wont work i have a friend with same issu any info ? i also added nodes so i know what i do

I redownloaded all the blockchain from scratch with wallet 5.3 and it worked

I also started from scratch at 7am today..  the entire chain was downloaded and synced within about 12 hours.

I wonder what is taking cryptopia so long?
For those of you who have problems with wallet sync, have you been using this node Code:

rpcpassword=<password>

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=2224

Referring to the current speed and difficulty - sure, the time of block approx. 2 min, so why we were planning to change the POW to stabilize network: difficulty changes more flexible according to the network speed ( stable time of block, less orphans and etc).

This is interesting..  then something changed

block 100000  9th Aug 2015 13:46:15
block 140000 21st Sep 2016 19:45:27

avg 14.73298 minutes per block...  what changed, the network WAS stable?

Nothing was changed but this fast block time is the result of the high hashrate on/off and the "unsorted" Network. Diff reseted and block mining goes faster. In 2015-2016, I mined with 2-5 other guys every day with the same Speed and therefore the Network was stable.

the difficulty that changes at everyblock should handle any amount of hashrate...

The Nfactor - changed, pls do not forget that year 2015 the project was under another developer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1927335.0) which stopped the POW at block 100k and was planning to use only POS and PON! This developer hasn't finalized his job and left the project! Our team do not want to use PON algo, we stay with Kalgecin suggestion to use POW+POS and do the developments on the new wallet based on Java code (add anon features and some others)

I put my CPU to mine for the bounty wallet!
We had only one real offer for the bounty payments - new logo and style of Cachecoin (it was paid).
Any other suggestions for the Bounty? Anybody wants to participate in the developments of Cachecoin project somehow?
