Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I tried the amd miner on a r9 390,it just crashes without a reason.I also tried with stock settings,driver crash anyway,also tried with higher voltage,same problem. I believe that miner won't work on windows 10/8.1.
yes, Windows 7 and a older catalyst Version helps, but I don't know what it was. your address was Cfa3AM9Pots8sqtXWUwC83mNWKESk4foAf? use a cpu miner! But if someone need help for a gpu miner you can contact me (prefer in german) Hello I have 3 gpu amd r7 260x of 1GB ram, I also happen the same with the miner for amd the controller is blocked? With what solution can you help me? Thank you. Do you say that an old driver should be installed? Which version should be installed? My operating system is windows 7 I would greatly appreciate your help It's simple, your Cards do not work because the algo is too hard for These Cards, your Memory are too small! search for Cards with 4GB+ all other make no sense. the scrypt-jane algo Needs with high NF a lot of Memory per thread, therefore you Need a lot of ram on your graphic card What performance in hashrate would have a rx 480 of 4GB? I think a Little bit more than 30H/s but not more than 40H/s (speculation) And what would be the hashrate for the gtx 1060 and gtx 1070?

The theoretically largest possible is your memory size divided by the thread size (Nf18 = 64MB) R7 240 4GB -> 64H / s -> but real only 29H/s-32H/s (it's a slow card) and you can't allocated all memory! Maybe use 70% for fast cards, I don't know. 8GB/64MB*0.7= ~ 89H/s ...
for the Ikarus pool use the --no-extranonce Option if you can, the pool do not Support extranonce!

Thanks for the answers, my doubt is for the following According to the law in the previous cachecoin thread, the following cards had this hashrate with the modified cgminer version for scrypt-jane [ANN] [CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane << <(196/520)> >> Guys, can you tell me if my hashrates are OK? I'm using cgminer that supports scrypt-jane algorithm. I've read somewhere on the internet, that scrypt-jane hashrate should be something like 75% of scrypt hashrate. In my case, it is not I'm not getting any HW errors at all. Radeon 7970 265 kH / s (WU: 220 kH / s) - scrypt-jane 760 kH / s (WU: 690 kH / s) - scrypt Radeon 270x 186 kH / s (WU: 195 kH / s) - scrypt-jane 465 kH / s (WU: 410 kH / s) - scrypt Currently mining at 590kh / s and 635kh / s on my two R9 280X. But that was in the past I do not know if those cards still maintain that hashrate if the code changes, I imagine it is the same, because in the old thread says scrypt-jane: 18 Finally, according to tests gtx 1080 gets 520 h / s Has anyone corroborated these cards?

I disagree... for the last 5 days it has been online, and that page was dynamically showing the nodes it was connected to.. it even connected to my node for a while !!! so, that means for the last 24 hours, they are NOT even running the node.

Hi devs, can you guys provide 3 reasons why people should choose cachecoin? Like example from another coin is; Secure, untraceable, private. A short paragraph then explains each of the three points. I want to use this to help with the marketing, and need reasons as to why people should choose cachecoin over the rest. Designing a pretty ad won't win people over to the community without valid points. Thanks

I'm all about helping to build this community as i am involved in it and take interest. But we really need to shake things up. I'm happy to help without the bounty as im cpu mining slowly haha I can design pretty whitepaper documentation, awesome graphical roadmaps for clear picture etc without the need for bounty. I just like clear information to help market it properly. I tried to get my friends into cachecoin but they refuse because they say everything isnt clear, its just another coin. In order to have value, it needs to have more than a cleaner code. I'm not trying to be negative here as i fully support this. But we definitely need clear picture of the roadmap.

Hey guys - it looks like we did nothing for the last month (I agree that since 2014 almost nothing has changed, but we revived the project for the long time)! One fail and so much worry about price and movements:)
The developer is working. We are planning to upgrade the Roadmap, but we will do it in our way, we do not want to copy anybody.
NB! Cryptopia's admin contacted me on Wednesday and I gave him all necessary info to get the wallet back to net, so I could say that it should start to work again during today or maybe tonight!
Thanks to everybody who want to assist the project - please contact me through PM, so we could discuss. I'm mining for bounty which could be used a later on. The Cachecoin market cap is almost 4 mln of CACH, but I haven't seen any 0,01 CACH on Bounty wallet from other source (I said that all donated CACH would be used especially for the project developments).
