Hi,

I transferred my bitcoins from bitcoin wallet v0.8.3-beta to my new copy wallet.
For a test I copied the adress from the copay wallet and send 0.1 bitcoins from bitcoin wallet to tha adress - works fine!
So I transferred another trance: copying the link, sending, and 10min later the bitcoins arrived, great!
Then I sent the last trance the same way .... they are gone from my bitcoin wallet, the transaction looks normal, but they never arrived!

ID: 77abdabc78ef5d398276d4bc37b05ad1acf84e31312b0f6f2ab35fd9a92e466b

blockchain explorer says: not existing transaction!

How could that be? Can I kind of "restore" bitcoins of such a not-existing transaction from my backup wallet?

Any help is highly appreciated,

thanks, effess

Looks like u double spend tx https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/77abdabc78ef5d398276d4bc37b05ad1acf84e31312b0f6f2ab35fd9a92e466b/

Which wallet u use to transfer and which version of wallet to receive? Check your old wallet to see if u have funds back.

This is one of your old address https://blockchain.info/address/13GWq9MgyzbimJ9Txg2WyrUQibfreqJig2 ?

Not only is it a double spend... but it has no fees??!? Huh Shocked

FEES 0.0 BTC

Sounds like your old wallet software screwed something up... I'm surprised it even got accepted onto the network with zero fees... most nodes would just reject it, so I'm not surprised most block explorers have ignored/dropped it.

Depending on your wallet software, you should be able to rescan or rebuild the blockchain and get your coins to show again.  I'm not sure if Bitcoin 0.8.3 beta supported the -zapwallettxes command... it is very old
