I was not going say it, But I will.

You can't have your cake and eat it

Everyone is always in a rush. Thats why we All jumped on this group by (or any other for that matter). Everyone wanted to back out ASAP while Steamboat stated he did not want to rush into things (don't recall which update that was, but its there) so he can get all the options ironed out.

Now he updates us with refund options, everyone panics and refunds.  Now that theres a chance the K16 may be fixed, Your upset that you put in a refund request and He's trying to Steamroll us (pun intended)?!?!

If he wanted to do that, He would use this NO REFUND policy, and Run far, far away. Given all the information He has given us, I don't see him doing that.

You can't have your cake and eat it too =]

Ok this is bullshit, I'd almost recommend steamboat pulling the plug on this and for everyone to request all refunds.  This is unprofessional.

I got my refund, sadly my Blockchain got corrupted so I have to wait to transfer my bitcoins back to my normal wallet. SB while a bit slow on giving out the refunds and not giving out FULL refunds did give them out. I am so glad I'm free of Yifu now. I'll never deal with him again if I can help it.

so refunds are being sent
I didn't receive the email with the refund form and i've requested one several times so far from steamboat with no reply .
I also signed a message from my sending address just simply stating 'refund request' and pasted the signature in an email with account details, tx id etc..
Do I need to do more? could someone email me the refund form?

Steamboat,
I know you are busy with your own stuff but could you find your way to clear up something?

Please confirm or deny the below to the best of our ability and personal knowledge, allot of people are being left in the dark with TerraHash's lack of communication and you might be able to clear things up, thanks.

Zefir's last batches were ordered in late April, and he obtained refunds for 2 of them. Sebastianju has a similar situation. That means that Terrahash should be receiving their chips VERY soon (should be next in line along with Steamboat).

I spoke with Amir on Thursday and he said that they were contacting Steamboat to work out the final issues with the IC2 firmware problem. Steamboat appears to have worked out some of the kinks on his end. Amir has stated on BKK's thread, other than issues with the IC2 daisy chain, their boards are hashing properly.
<snipped..../>
Amir said that they are working long hours to resolve the present situation, and when it is finished, they will move on to the hosted miner offer. It was a brief and positive conversation. He said that they have not yet received an email from Bitsyncom regarding the chips shipping, but expects to get one any day now. That should happen soon, since all late April orders appear to have been shipped as of yesterday.

Well, due to lack of updates, if I had known the fact that they MAY have worked out the firmware problem, then maybe I would not have requested a refund and effectively EATEN my assembly costs.

I'm going to have to agree with some people around here, who I may have previously disagreed with before.

The lack of timely updates is causing people to make uninformed decisions, in order to potentially protect what little they may have left of their "investment".

Hello ScaryHash.

btceic is quoting a report that I made to the Terrahash thread regarding my discussion with the CEO of Terrahash. I'm not sure why he is wasting his time on this subject. btceic got a full refund for his Terrahash order last month. Anyway...

Terrahash said that they were making contact with Steamboat to get information on the 12C daisy chain firmware problem. I am not aware if LD has been able to iron out all bugs, but the update they sent a few days ago alludes to progress on the boards. It's possible that Terrahash and Steamboat could put their heads together and share notes. TH share their info on gettings 16 chips hashing, and Steamboat sharing a fix for the I2C bug. No one is sure what specifically is going on and what time frame it will happen in. Side note, I don't trust Yifu and I think his company is straddling criminal territory. If you put in for a refund, I wouldn't fret about it. Steamboat seems to be a solid guy and he has been fulfilling refund requests as we speak.

Geee, do you THINK that might have been an important piece of information??

At this point the only REAL information you should need is that the chips can no longer reach ROI.  Anyone not refunding is most likely doing so because of A) ignorance or B) hobbyist purposes.  Get what you can out and hope that next gen assembly goes better, or get the refund on that too and wash your hands of it.

I'd advise against using other peoples information unless you trust them 100% and then some. Unless you *want* to get pished or something Tongue

Also, people who received the original e-mail, please do not send it to others whom you may not know if they are a batch member themselves. They may want your
original in order to create pishing e-mail which looks identical to the original mail.
