I've just seen that only 3 players have scored more than 30 points with a maximum of 50 points, so this week it seems like there will not be big changes in the standings.
today I will risk winning Liverpool against the Manc. City!

Looks like I wasn't the only one trying to risk a Liverpool win, my 3-0 prediction was lost at half time, but my heart was fluttering at 4-1. Great variety to Liverpool goals, though, wouldn't you say, and the usual deflation at the way we concede. Our keepers (both!) are just abject at basic defending, thankfully the frontmen were on fire as usual.

To the rest of the league, you're welcome! May this loss be the one to set City on a points-dropping streak. Of the top 6, only Liverpool and City seem to be able to score consistently, could this be the start of an unlikely Liverpool surge? *heart fluttering*

A weekend of few upsets so far... considering marking down my 1-1 Utd draw tomorrow to a 0-1 loss.

For me it was a disaster today, I did only 30 points with 7 matches.
 I hope not to lose too many positions this week!

Well I only got ten points so far. I expected many wouldn't do very well after I saw the scores. I narrowly missed out on a correct score in the Spurs game as I predicted 3-0. Hopefully I can reclaim some points on the last two games but I think they will both be difficult and could go any of the three ways but can see draws/very close games.

You got your reward , I find it strange how Liverpool beat Man.City today but well done to you and buwaytress for betting on Liverpool and winning. Arsenal lost today , I missed correct score by just one goal there, I guess this was the most disastrous week for me , right after the most wonderful one.

Unless I get zero points one week this will probably be my worst week ever at a mere ten points (and joined only with ajaxmoor - and I'm not counting the others on zero who probably just didn't enter their predictions).

The Liverpool game just goes to show that sometimes it pays to mix it up a little or go against the grain with your predictions, but nobody would have had the balls to go with 4-3 haha. I thought I was risky with my 2-3 prediction  .

I'm not going to state my score for tonight cos I really could do with the 40 points haha.

I should be happy with 20 points then. Following your example for tonight by not showing my prediction for Man.Utd. However I know that I have  put a score which 99% is sure to not be hit as a correct score. I would be glad with 10 points and a Man.Utd win tonight. Looking forward to next week as this will be marked as the most disastrous week for all the participants of this betting pool no matter the result of tonight game.

I went with 2-0 to Manchester and it's that exact score at half time right now. Hopefully it'll stay that way but I can't see it. Really need those 40 points so this week wasn't a total wash out. Ten points doesn't really do anything on games like these because probably everyone else will have backed them to win. The question is by how many  .

I got that correct score too, it brought me up to 60 points making this week not so miserable as I thought. I am in 6th place now but the difference between the top is not that big, a good week with 3-4 correct scores can bring into top spot, of course if I am able to repeat the 200 points success of last week.

@tokeweed, I don't believe you didn't at least pick Spurs or Utd to win, did you forget your predictions? You're doing well on our sidebet, but still 15 weeks to go, I know my Carles can do it.

@LFC you're the only one who made 100 points, I have to settle for 40 but am really disappointed my Chelsea draw was correct for the second week in a row, but never saw them not being able to score.

I can't seem to break my bad spell by backing unlikely scores... even if I get the outcomes right they're only 10 points.

Why's BBC taking so long these days to get next predictions back?

Games starts on Saturday for this week so we have enough time and I think BBC Premier League predictor will be available for the next round before Friday night or Friday night at max. This upcoming week looks like it has some difficult games to predict but in fact is better this way because we all thought Chelsea to win last week but Chelsea equalized.

I just put my predictions for this weekend games. I have made some pretty crazy predictions with predicting 90% of all games to have more than 4 goals each. This week is looking like a make or break one to me in an attempt to get to the top 3.

Not me, I predicted all the big six to draw... yes, I just couldn't resist gambling, especially when two weeks ago (?) they all did, in fact, draw, except Liverpool! Gambling against the grain didn't pay off this week, though I suppose I should be thankful few would have predicted Arsenal and Chelsea to hit four without reply. City and Aguero have put their Anfield loss well behind them, I guess.

I'm at a pretty miserable 50 points thanks to Leicester correct score. Damned Stoke had to score twice and ruin my 40. I'll change my Spurs to a win... maybe.

I'm way ahead vs Here4Trades with Aguero at 16 goals and Lukaku fading with only 11 goals.  You better pay up, that BTC will feel really good in my wallet.  Lol.    J/k.

Well, Liverpool just got their unbeaten run ended today after last week ending City's one. Win with style at the top team, lose with boredom to the bottom team. That is exactly Liverpool as I have known them for the last 5 seasons. Oh well! 90 points isn't bad for this week's haul. I'm glad I didn't switch my 1-1 prediction to a Spurs win after being tempted by the wins of Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal. I suppose there simply isn't going to be any week now where all the big 6 will win, so a draw/loss would be "smart" to predict for 1 or 2 of them.
