I'd guess that most of these boards shouldn't need reballing at all. The assembly house did x-ray inspection on the BGA, and took care of reworking any BGA failure. What we're likely to see here (and I haven't been able to personally inspect these boards either) is failed oscillator or voltage regolator modules/soldering. |

The software is already open source, but I'm working on open sourcing the hardware, too. That said, I'll provide the full schematic and bill of materials to the winner of the auction, to help with debugging. |
