It's funny you chose the legal section to ask about mining, maybe because you know that taking electricity without paying is stealing.
Do you have some special agreement with a landlord, that allows you to use certain amount of power for free?
If you're trying to steal power you can be fined and even go to jail. I think in the US you can easily get 6 months in jail and a fine for that, and if they find out you were making money this way, you'll even get more + possible tax evasion charges.

If that's what you want, you can mine using solar electricity, it's big capital at the beginning but then just pay maintenance fee only

Well, if you have cheap (free) electricity already, then half of the costs are gone. Now you should think of the hardware, cooling, noise control, and software used to mine.

Firstly, Hardware: you can mine using two kinds of hardware:

• Specific mining hardware called miners like S9 antminers;

For the first, you need nothing but a Power Supply Unit known as PSU and a small cooling fan. For the second, you need to build a mining rig (GPU, CPU, PSU, RAM, SDD, not HDD because it's slow, and a case, open preferably).

Secondly, you need a fast internet connection, obviously.

Thirdly, You need a space for your mining rig(s), an open place, and if you can't have one, a closed one with proper cooling is fine.

Fourthly, you will need good fans to cool your mining rigs and the room you are mining into.

Fifthly, if you used GPUs, they are usually calmer, but if you used the mining hardware, it is very noisy, and you are going to need noise control in the mining room.

Yeah, mining doesn't need fast connection at all, all it needs is stable one and this man is in a highland so he can produce electricity (himself or somehow)

Free is illegal most of the time, or there are limits- check to see how much power you can pull as it won't be fun if it turns out to be illegal or you pull too much power and the provider doesn't let you use the power anymore. If you are a Bitcoin guy, go with Bitcoin, and if you are an Altcoin guy, go with GPU mining ETH, Zcash and Monero. Not much to be said here, but keep in mind GPU mining generally means better resale and more profits per dollar invested compared to Bitcoin rigs these days.

cheap hydro can make you have free electricity but it's not so common, you need a certain place to use that, and only few people can, it's also green energy which help the planet

so not all free electricity is stealing, but i'm afraid this is the case, as the op is probably just runnign  the miner on his mom's basement, or using some trick on the counter, to stop the counting of kwh...
