I hope the price of bitcoin will reach $3000 because the price is continue increasing . Even the price today dump I believe the price of bitcoin will recover again and it will back again at $2500 plus. $3000 will happen for sure after few months or maybe next week it will happen. I think the price of bitcoin 2018 maybe $4000-$5000 if this hapoen many investor of bitcoin will become millionaire for sure. So invest your money in bitcoin now before its too late . But remember invest only that you can afoord to lose.

Surprised, because about a month ago I bought a 0.4 btc with $1230, now $2350 even price 2 days ago $2750. I think $3000 will be reached by the end of May.

We didn't even break $2,700 today and we're down to just under $2200 right now, there is no way that it is going to be hitting anywhere close to $3000 in the next 4 days, regardless of how much wishful thinking you want to apply to the situation.
I'll see what happens with the value tonight, there is a decent chance that everything will just go down hard and we're gonna have a really bad time.

When the price reached 1K, they want 2K, and then 3K, too much greed. Couple of days of pumping was enough to take it to $2700, but now it looks like dumping time, $3000 is not going to be achievable at least not by the end of this month. What I have seen from the previous scenarios and patterns it looks like BTC price would drop considerably, probably around $1500 again. And if the next pumping is going to be proportional to this dumping then we may reach 2K again, but 3K would definitely take some time.

Could be some dumping going around, because they see a lot of gaining profit from a sell. But I still confident that bitcoin could rise again in the next months to come. This dumping will end, and people are going back to buy bitcoin again. I think the dumping will not go below $2000.

It is under $2000 right now but it depends on the exchange. The exchange prices are all over the place, there is $300+ spread between various exchanges. I don't understand why such a large spread should exist.

There are some saying that it's because of the demand on selling is not that high. So they need to adjust and get some higher buying rate.

I'm having an heartache with what's happening to the price decrease of bitcoin but well this is crypto currency, though I'm not a weak one.

I understand that this dump needs to happen in return of the fast price increase that happened recently.

Because here I saw yesterday that the price was 3280$/btc in India but now today this is about 2100$ .
So here we can see what the difference in the 24 hours and how the Bitcoin demand varies .
So all things are ways that the predictions of Bitcoin to reach 10k$ is possible but above this , the possibility are about 50-50% .
Because we can say about the price with the blind eyes .
So here we should take care that we are making prediction  , that should be easily understandable .
If we will make predictions to about $50k/btc then I would be totally nonsense thing .

Rubbish. I don't think that the correction will be that deep. In Coinbase, it has come down from $2,800 to $1,900. Now it has started rising again... currently at $2,100. I really doubt whether the rates will again slip below the $2,000 mark. We had a correction, and now it is over.

Right now, if I go to bitfinex I see a price of $1,956

So, can someone explain to me why there is a $179 price difference between those two exchanges. Are they the largest exchanges? That's a 9% spread.

Makes no sense to me. Why would someone ever buy from coinbase if they charge almost $200 more? And bitfinex isn't even the cheapest exchange itself.

And how you can say that the price of bitcoin in june 2017 will be $1700?  Yes that price is possible but I hope it will not decease again the price I think minimum of $2000 is enough and lower1900 dollars is not good for me. The price of bitcoin will decrease now but Im really prettt sure it will recover again and it will back again at $2500 plus and I hope it will increase what I expected amount. We already have touched the 3k dollars value for bitcoin but it was just temporary. Then after that a huge dump occurred and the price was back at 2k$ in just two days. Its a sad thing, we were expecting much more to bitcoins but something went wrong. Well I guess we need to wait again for an increase in value and hope that it will not drop down below 2k$.

i think this topic should be speculation section. indeed we've almost reached the $3000 mark but the bubble pops and we are experiencing price correction right so, the price could down as 1700 or it could drop as low as 1400 (my prediction). but this is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin at low price but it's bad for the holders because they lose some profit.

The bitcoin price is the result of allot of factors playing out together, for example the demand and the sellers (the clearest too) but even different financial news and the conditions of countries impact it greatly, very hard to predict the overall direction IMO.

Agreed, we may not fall below $2000 as it seems to be the price from which the forward move happened in multiples of $100 and $50. So hope it gains resistance and will stay above for a short before increasing further to reach the next milestone of price which is the quoted $3000.

Come on, the absurd rise began by the end of the year. Merely looking at the chart, I'd expect it to go down to below 1k.

Remember: BTC has no intrinsic value, no state, organisation or even some small assets backing it and huge technical problems that aren't going to be resolved in due time. So there's nothing to catch the falling rate, once the hysterical selling starts.

Sure it will. It's only less than $400 before it pass $3k . I'm surprised at how fast the price raised since 2 days ago and honestly I've been monitring the price to withdraw some of my money. Do you think I should do it now or wait til tomorrow for a higher price? Or will it not change?

Right now its better to get more btc its is decreasing now and wait like half a year and boom $5k/btc enjoy the fortune
