Yes. that was 7 years ago when just few of people really attracted and believe in bitcoin, as time passed by and bitcoin become more famous and traded everywhere, the price increase and harder to get it without big amount of money. Yes, looking at the past and you will envy how easy to get bitcoin and maybe you could be rich right now, earn $10,000 or more. BUt, there is no point to think and regret what we don't know 7 years ago, just live in this moment and planning for the future. |

Exactly. I wish i was also a part of the pioneering group of bitcoin community who really are so lucky right now all their what ifs before are all paid out right now for those who stays and believed Don't wish that you were part of that group. Every decision you make here in life leads up to certain instances. Instead you should think about believing now and stay here to support BTC and Crypto. The people that will find out about BTC in 2022 will say the same thing about you: "I wish I was around in 2017 when BTC was only $1000-$2500. My life would be so great if I just bought a couple of BTC back then. It's all a cycle, it will never be too late to get in to BTC or any legit Crypto. At least that's the way I see it. |

That is a very huge amount of bitcoin for free and i'm sure back in that year the bitcoin price is very cheap so it is not that loss to spend or give bitcoins away for the people because it is easy to get bitcoin again. If i knew bitcoin earlier like in 2010 then i'm pretty sure that i'm already a millionaire right now and you are right, now, the people are working hard to just earn 0.01 while back in the days it is easy as pie. |

I remember times when I started to use faucets, then average reward was 500 satoshi, there was many faucets which were paying 1000 satoshi rewards. Today 100 satoshi looks a as good reward, but then we ignored faucets with such low rewards. I remember that already few years ago peoplewere saying faucets is waste of time. But these satoshis which I claimed few years ago, today is worth few thousand dollars. Not bad waste of time, yes? And now it's hard to predict, how much 100 satoshi claimedtoday, will be worth after few years.

The pizza history is an amazing example what you shouldnt do, or atleast you shouldnt regret in the future, if you need something use fiat instead bitcoin, imagine tomorrow it worth 50k dollars and you spend it to buy something.
For other side we cant keep forever bitcoin, a lot people had several coins and the most of them exchanged into fiat soon as possible, nowadays people does trade with more knowledge about bitcoin potencial, something 7 years ago no one could predict.
Excuse me but he pizza guy knew exactly what he was doing and it's is exactly what we all should have done in the same instance. BTC would be worth nothing without parties willing to trade, buy and sell. To show the way on how internet money could be transacted with zero faceless suit middlemen taking a cut. The pizza was freely bought and the purchaser more than happy he spent $20,000,000 on 2 Papa John pepperoni pizza. We all would have done the same. |

It is definitely your bitcoin lost because you did not carefully, maybe if you still have your bitcoin surely you are already rich, but not late to get profit because the price will increase. |

It's quite scary how much these faucets paid back then. I regret not claiming from it because one of my friends actually told me about bitcoin back in 2010 and i didn't bother listening to him because i thought it was some sort of virtual gaming currency, sort of like Second Life Lindens if you play that game. I've never really looked into it like most people until 2013 when the price spiked and then fell back down again. There were multiple opportunities for people to grab and get cheap/free coins, but most didn't bother. That's why if you want to get rich, always ALWAYS look out for new technology and innovations, don't be afraid to invest a little time each day browsing them  |

This is so cool, because we can see how bitcpin rises from its smaller value up to reachings its peak now. How amazing it is right? What if we purchased big amount when it was cents before? Maybe we are so rich now, this is how I regret things in the past as we can see the difference.of having it before than purchasing fes coins of bitcoin.

Ho Ho Ho, Gavin's old faucet, of course when I was in bitcoin it was already down from a long time, Just imagine making 5 BTC with a random click (and technically if you used it for months regularly would have already became a millionaire).
Also other than that, if you use 100 dollars or so you could buy an exorbitant amount of 2 cents BTC.

This is great especially now that every bitcoin have gained a very considerable value. I wish I've known bitcoin sooner like any other who's been in the business for many years and counting. So this is a history that is good to look back on and now we should do our best to learn more especially new ones like me and save some amount of bitcoin which may double or triple or more in the next few years so that we would not regret missing this opportunity.

yeah , I bet no one was expecting that BTC would be near 10$ in the future at that time ( personally I didn't know bitcoin at that time ) but who knows , maybe after 7 years 0.01 will worth 15K usd then a similar thread would be created and so on  |

It really is a neat piece of history back when a faucet was still worth something, now it is more of a liability than anything else due to the cost to send one input on the blockchain and the value of that input likely being worth less than the sum of the transaction sent. |

Heh, let alone the faucet, if you were mining in the earlier days you would be hitting multiple blocks, continuously with a CPU! That's some science fiction for us now but the older posts in the forum shows this clearly, I wonder if these people knew how BTC will turn out like.

it funny to know that in 3 sec you get 5 BTC free. But my disappointment is hard to get 0.01 BTC for one week. thinking that it is unfair to those people working hard to earn 0.01 BTC. and fortunate to those people receiving free 5 BTC in 3 sec... |

Those people are early birds and early birds are always thew winners or one of the luckiest person in the game. So if you are a lucky person and you are in that time then you already enjoying a lot of profits but if not then the only thing that you can is to work hard because that is true for a newbie, it is hard now to earn at least 0.01 bitcoin per week. |
