Bter.com's been down since yesterday;
there was announcements on the homepage about server upgrades & such!
they where updating the info page with the news of how their upgrades are going up until a few hours ago.
now its just "503 Service Unavailable!"

is there an official thread here?
does anyone have news of what's going on with them?
they were suppose to come back online about 4hours ago 2:30pm Beijing time!
they're not back up yet!

(sorry if am on the wrong board or the thread is redundant!)
(did search, couldn't find anything!)

Here is their official thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=280806

Have you tried contacting them via this email ? support@bter.com They might give you ETA when site will up again. Couldn't find anything about this downtime in their ANN thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=80096 is the one who have created that ANN thread here so he/she might help you but it looks like that account haven't made any login in last 6 days.

I haven't used them till now.

Might try contacting freeworm; hardly doubt it'll get me anywhere!

i wasn't really using it either;
way back when i had this thing that i'd put a pocketful of coins in different exchanges just lookin' up how they worked & all!
completely forgot i had any in bter; up until yesterday!
checked on them & decided to pull them out to their respective wallet;
then this happened; before i got the chance to make the withdraw!

It looks like they are already back and working normally. You can lock this thread because I think no more discussion is needed on this topic.
