Why would you not sell and free up some $$$ if you know price was going to drop further?

Its trading basics 101 sell as the market starts turning bearish and then rebuy even further down in the dip.

Just make sure you arent selling right at the very bottom

I don't know what coins he holding but if its bitcoin they I will not sell but hold. But if that is shitcoin he's holding, then I agree it would be better to sell before you are trap and lose money. ETH is going down as well, so If you are going to ask me, I'm going to sell it now and maybe buy back again at more lower price.
