As mentioned above, SEPA has finally come and it is already working today. First transactions are on the way!

More about it here in the blog post

It looks great. Electricity buyers will have no worries this way.   Not sure if you also make it for other side. For electricity sellers. can they get directly euros for their electricity sell?      Also how exactly this works? Coins are bought from particular exchange or ...?

Sells back to fiat are not yet available due to legislative difficulties. However, the legal team is pushing hard to find a solution for this as soon as possible. The solution might be available soon for producers.

As far as the SNC buying strategy for fiat gateway is concerned, you probably understand that we cannot reveal exact details of it. What we can tell is that the system is designed in a way that exposes minimum risk in the case of huge volatilities on the market.

The SunContract platform will allow direct trade with the consumer without intermediaries, which will definitely affect the reduction of the cost of services and competition - all this, it is believed, will have a positive impact on the entire industry as a whole.

If it reduces the cost of the services between the buyer and seller then most of the people will attract, because where the buyer is getting the product for the lower price. Yes, definitely there is a big positive impact towards industry for energy resources.

SunContract is getting adoption

I hardly wait to see the real numbers. How many users actively trading electricity. I dont see any real promotion to get more users. Yes I see lots effort of branding Sun Contract, that should help in long term, but so far to me it seems like team dont really want to many users and want to test platform will less users and with that avoid need for more support.  I might be totally wrong.  Anyway platform is up now for 3 months already. Lets hope there will be some reports.

Considering Twitter, SunContract CEO was in Italy last week and now in Malaysia. On European Union Blockchain Hub, Asia Nodes Office.

What is most interesting is the Tweet from Italy:
https://twitter.com/sun_contract/status/1019583041436569601

"#SunContract co-founders Gregor Novak and Mojca Bajec are in the Lombardy region of #Italy for a few important meetings over the next few days.. Maybe one day we might expand into Italy?"

Expanding to bordering countries of Slovenia was on the original roadmap. I dont remember really exactly when it was set to happen.

I like the concept of enabling people to sell their (solar) energy to other households and cutting out the middlemen. I am just wondering what are the differentiators of SunContract with similar projects as Powerledger, Restart Energy. Also I wonder which of these projects already have a product that you can use today, as far I am aware Restart Energy had an existing business before their ICO, not sure how far the crypto currency part of this project is developed.

I really have difficulty picking the right one of these projects. If I compare the market cap of Suncontract and Restart Energy with Powerledger I see an upside of 10x the price of they just get to the market cap of Powerledger, but are they really able to do that and execute on their plans while also getting a strong community?

Which one of these are your favourite green energy projects and are there others that I missed out?

Expanding to bordering countries of Slovenia was on the original roadmap. I dont remember really exactly when it was set to happen.

Preparations for expansion are fully underway. The plan is still to present new markets in 2019.

Marketing will follow. Each partner will have to focus on its' domestic country, SunContract will do only branding campaigns. SONCE is already in low start in Slovenia.

SunContract seems to be the furthest with the open P2P market for energy trading. Every day we can find some new projects that are emerging in the energy sector with blockchain tech solutions. This only proves we were right to enter the global race for the Open energy market.

SunContract CEO interviewed on Energetika.net
The future lies in a combination of renewables and blockchain

SONCE energija, the company behind the SunContract platform, now responsible for marketing the services provided by the platform in its new role as a partner for the Slovenian market, has installed more than 200 solar power plants across Slovenia in the last decade. After the idea of an energy trading platform was unveiled publicly last year, USD 2 million was raised fairly quickly to fund its development, ultimately giving rise to SunContract.
