I'd like to auction one of these coins - you can choose either 1AUYE or 1aUXi, it's up to you Both coins are unredeemed and in good condition. Starting bid is 3 BTC, which I consider to be very good value considering the recent price drop. The auction will end TONIGHT at 10:30pm GMT (9:30pm UTC). Starting bid 3 BTC. Bid increments of at least 0.1 BTC. Any valid bid from 10:25pm GMT onwards extends the finish time by 5 minutes. I will include free postage (signed for on delivery).

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Just thought I might point out something that jumps out at me:
These coins cause me a small amount of "OCD anxiety" (if you can call it that) for being namespace collisions with my gold coins (that also start with 1Au). For what that's worth. Had I the foresight to know I wanted to do gold coins that way, these particular coins would never have existed, the stickers would have been trashed. So, they're special in a way! =) I have a small itch to bid on them just to take them and trash them for that reason, but...I don't think it's my place to. Good luck!

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable. I never believe them. If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins. I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion. Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice. Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

I have bolded the most important bit But seriously, thanks for your input. I'm trying to find the list of public keys so I can find how many of these 1au coins exist. If you want to bid I am perfectly happy with that

Found the list; https://www.casascius.com/fulllist.txtSo it seems there are 22 Series 1 coins with this namespace collision. I may have a third, but I would have check. It's definitely possible as I bought it at the same time. 1AUbXGut5A84bscvUKZqyENsvNA6fD86fo 1AuCmQhHmDxrA3y8frshVJyyh9QdZsi4xf 1AUHo7QzT18WwyJRSHUUcyWxyaWTAGbugz 1Auiu2uvjtjGZoAb2KX1BcFGkkYV83nMHp 1AUksNFVqmfZEzVQNctHNW32AH4Ln35Coo 1AukTbZ68Qg8QUecthyFu9KFNPEc57wT2a 1AuLQMbmFJdVdh7rkDV3xmNRfmM99jVfbu 1AumyoiScn4z8egBouk8VEPMCPX7RMXvFN 1AUnk84ZNMCDKqz6R8rzV3MHdrGmLUJSjy 1AUs2ZwJR2P22VF2s8p53SxEv5XVJPGnTv 1AUSZXYNhY4Vkmu7osJUiGdnumP5JBe4Bw 1AUtZKvpt21hK37Wrw6zEmiHoivH5ptd27 1AuUethi7DAN5iUNF2KwpStBoCVZf4VK4Z 1AUuhLLyh7Cz4bMyVBxKD7eknWTpPpQJyF 1AuuZKFNcfK5MFJvU2BvNGBh7cXwxvpXLS 1AuVBu564VrXe6G7WR7N1bV3JsUncK5cRx 1AuWUrg5zDNfUF29ZYBTxnNopfEFyRne8q 1AUX9TfspJQf76cxXWT36XC4PWKcmpn961 1aUXikoo1oWmWxhxGYMDwwBbUBNjYBuFJ 1AUXoJvkoLYikfujn3Cf2ne4utNnhDNEaC 1AUYE382H7emgigA5nDjkK86uUptN6zBYQ 1AUZgKK9GVoXVshwWHcd46giuVkNZ2Sum

Any valid bid from 10:25pm GMT onwards extends the finish time by 5 minutes. So any further bid will win unless there is another within 5 minutes of the last.
