Thanks for applying everyone. It was extremely difficult deciding on the final 3-4 people which is why it took so long. If you weren't accepted, it doesn't mean that you're posts were bad. There were just so many good applicants and I had to narrow it down.

While we're on this topic: For those interested in joining the campaign, would you rather have more frequent openings of single slots, or slightly less frequent openings but with multiple spots open?

Can't we have a waiting list system here? It will decrease a lot of stress and overhead of choosing the one out of many every time a slot get empty.

I don't like waiting lists either because there's always going to be some variation of people who I think should be accepted into the campaign and I don't want to pass on someone "better" because someone slightly worse but still acceptable was earlier on the list.

If you didn't decide on a system yet, I'd say offering multiple slots at once is probably best for quite a few reasons:
• less analysis on your end, you don't have to keep going through 60 new applicants' 20+ posts a week to see which is best...
• There's less of a chance of 2/3 great users applying and you having to reject 2 of them because one was almost unnoticeably better in quality/discussion with their posts.

It's still very similar no matter what anyways, you can always do like you did this time and say 1-4 posts are open and avaliable and then choose how many you distribute once all of the applications come in.

After reading this, I have changed my opinion.

I think the value of being able to choose the best N of M is much better than the value of seeing progressive post quality increases, especially considering that most high-quality posters will inevitably end up applying here when the slots open.

The top quality posters inevitably join such highly competive contest in the top (highest) campaign. In my opinion, there are at least three causal components that motivate users to do their good quality posts and improve posting quality over time:
(1) Their internal purpose to improve themselves by learning more about bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies.
(2) The merit system, that requires them to do quality posts to rank up.
(3) The top campaigns that require them to compete each other (among top quality posters) to be accepted by managers.

Personally, I will keep applying here whenever new open slots announced by manager.

Might be a bit late, and you may have already come to a decision. But I do think that this is something that should be done. Much better then opening slots all the time and having to look through 60+ every 2 weeks instead of 60+ every couple months.

Because we all know that you're going to be getting the same amount of people attempting to join this campaign if theirs 1 slot or if these 6 open.
