I personally like the wallet and the features It offers very much, the only problem that I hope will get solved soon is making the project open source. The UX/UI is simply great, It support multiple coins, ability to recover your wallet using a seed, export your private keys and more. I suggest taking a look at the roadmap from the Unofficial thread I made, It could help you see their future plans.

I prefer to not accuse people without proof and I don't think they would get donations If they make it open source, do you? the development for such a wallet require too much effort and resources and without a source of income (the exchanges fees from ShapeShift) they can't keep up.

I think it's excellent for people who are new in crypto and just about to get into some altcoins. The UI is simply amazing but I think overall Electrum is the better wallet.

i personally like to use exodus wallet and ethereum wallet. these both are good for security and easy to use. most of the people trying to use this wallet. it can offers very much and it has good features to use. here our private key and bit coin also keeping safe. so once try to use this wallet for your use. most of the people trying to use this wallet because security so once try this wallet.this wallet can run on any flat form.i personally like this wallet for my bit coin.

A closed or open source project has its own advantage and disadvantage. if the project goes open source I'm sure a lot of people will contribute to the development and I'm sure that could help accelerate the development.

I agree with OMegaStarScream although I wasnt aware Exodus was not open source,
but upon reflection it doesnt bother me 

I like the wallet, it has a very attractive user panel and new currencies added regularly.
as mentioned above we can export private keys and trade coins via shapeshift internally.
