Have you seen the difference between some exchanges? Do you know an exchange had reached more than $3500?
Bitcoin adoption worldwide and legalized in Japan and being used as medium of exchange in some countries or treated as store of value make bitcoin skyrocket recently and will recover again for sure. Only scale problem which prevent bitcoin still not reach $5000 right now.

i'm not sure whether the price will increase until $5000 in the end of the year. Since the price is fluctuating, and we can't really know how much it will increase. But there's always a possibility for that. Moreover, nowadays bitcoin is more wellknown because some incidents and many people interested to join. For me it can't be you can see now the worth of the bitcoin is goes down to 17%. 17% is very high loss to the bitcoin. Now the price of the bitcoin is $2000, but maybe in some months the bitcoin will increase rapidly again.

Yes. Hope we will be multi-millionaires in the coming years. Right now its on the dumping zone now and just praying to hold on the 2000$+ right now. If it starts falling then falls like there is no stopping, in 4 days it varied more than 600$ and it is not good for the community.

Too early for 5000$. I even think it is too early for 3000$ because there is this problem about scaling. I believe bitcoin can be very valuable but unless this problem is solved, bitcoin cannot move forward. Even if the price gets pushed very high, it will retrace back because of this problem.

Been saying it from the start and will again repeat, I do not see Bitcoins crossing 5000$ atleast this year long term maybe if the rise continues. For me it's anywhere between 1700 - 3000$. But with the tide halting now, we need to see where does it go from here. Does it end or will it take off again. Right now there will be a lot of panic and people will be spreading wrong information so do not believe everything that comes up, especially no one can correctly predict Bitcoins.

something crazy like mtgox 2.0 will only delay the process, it can't stop it. so if in fact it was possible to reach $5000 within a few months then even an mtgox 2.0 that a few months will turn into a few months +2.
with that said i doubt we can reach that price with current situation, for now you can expect a long accumulation phase and a lot of FUD about anything remotely bitcoin related causing dips.

$5000 is not happening this year that is for sure. But it will definitely happen some day. Price was ridiculously increasing in past days which shows a dump was near. Now when bitcoin is $2000, this is the original pace of bitcoin. A lot of people are buying bitcoin at present. Definitely a good sign. It will reach $3000 by the end of the year.

I don't really mind if that target will be achieved this year since the important thing here is, it will surely hit $5,000 even it will took a couple of years more. But to me, if we are to based the current bitcoin adoption today, no need to wait for couple of years just to hit that target. Take note that there are lots of bitcoin predictions that didn't happened expectedly in short time like the price passed the $1,000 level and to surprisingly around $3,000.

Let's just hope for the best. Our desired target that is close to reality will happened anytime soon.

IMHO bitcoin is able to penetrate the $5000 but of course not now, I think the current surging trend will end something around $2500 or so and then stabilize along with this range, sometimes even been pushed back. To get another 4-5 rising trend BTC would at least need few years.

But I believe prices may hit $5000 levels by June month of this year too. Because, this sudden correction has no justification so we are unable to find any reasons for prices falling down from $2850 levels. It may mean that some whales would have booked profits and panic traders just followed them. But actually bitcoin was poised to reach $3000+ levels by this time if that correction was not happening.

Based on these, I speculate bitcoin may reach $5000 levels in June and $10,000 in December. We are going to have more number of new investors world wide. Get ready for reaching moon !

Seriously I doubt that bitcoin can reach $5000 this year. We already seen the correction price and it seems to we need to doubled it this year to touch $5000 so it won't happened. There will be boring phase from now on, so its gonna be a steady climb back to where the price is originality before all this dumping has began. I can only speculate in the next year we can probably reach the magically $5000 barrier.

I had no confidence even in $3000 actually, and presumed the $2500 was the final line and it will just stand there or fall slightly, however now that it's almost close to $3000 again (at least the last time I checked), then reaching $3000 or $4000 shouldn't be impossible, not sure about $5000 for a year or two...
