I transferred some funds into my xapo USD wallet and then transferred them to my BTC wallet. Although my account balance reflects the deposited funds, the funds are not available for me to withdraw. I've been trying to withdraw since yesterday and their crappy customer support hasn't replied to my questions. I googled the words "xapo reviews" and read that many users have complained about not being able to withdraw their funds either. So the moral of the story is don't use xapo.

You should have used Google before depositing funds in Xapo. I am however confident that they will resolve your matter, but it will take some time. If we look at the alternatives, then each of them seems to suffer from the same annoyances. It basically comes down to the explosive growth that every service has to deal with lately, and adding more staff support costs money, which is something they are planning to hold off for as long as possible. Have you looked into Coinbase? It's probably the best possible alternative out there, but again, if you run into whatever problems, you will have to wait quite some time to get your matter resolved. It's safe to say that the current ecosystem can't (yet) keep up with all this user demand.
