Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It's called arbitrage trading.  Here's why all the prices aren't the same:

-There's a "spread" on most exchanges, which is the difference between the buy and sell prices.

-Some exchanges have high fees (e.g. Coinbase)

-Some exchanges are dysfunctional (Bitfinex, BTC-E, Chinese exchanges), and some exchanges are also extremely shady/annoying when you move large amounts (BTC-E, Poloniex and more).

Overall doing arbitrage with several exchanges can get very hard.  There are some minor opportunities with the extreme price fluctuations that go on, but they're gone very fast.  I don't recommend you get involved unless you know what you're doing or you can trade with foreign exchanges (like South Korea).

Well, it is on every exchanger sometimes there is a difference in price. But it's all actually isn't something profit, because the difference is only different very thin and short. So when you are tempted to do it, I'm sure it's just a throw away a lot of time for you. So, it is better to focus on one point and then lined up on the right. Because if we use the trading with either already ascertained on the right will benefit

Yes I am using multiple exchange, depending on you in which of them your gonna use, of course you must search it first before you trade in that platform. And I don't see any wrong with it as long as it gives you benefits and profit.

That was an arbitrage trading most of the traders do that ,but as i've experience it is good and can make you profits but you need first to check the wallets first in both exchange if it is available and not on maintainance also it depends on transfeering because sometimes it takes a lot of time to transfer so the result after it confirmed it also dump most of the times .Be careful with arbitrage but also worth to try for.

Yes I do. I'm doing arbitrage if the sell difference between the trading sites is huge. I'm doing it if my holding is big enough so thay my effort is worth it. However, if the price doesn't have a huge difference, I ignore it as I'll just be deficit due to fee.

I have done this a few times in the past, but these days it is harder, since due to slow confirmations and high fees, it is becoming more difficult to move money between exchanges.

Correct and using multiple exchange site your risk will be lessen and also profit will maximize. I think that is the way of thinking of more traders.
Just be careful on engaging in exchange site because there are many sites are scam specially for newbie they should search first before they act.

Know what this is about, and as the man above said, it's called arbitrage.  Get familiar with that word.

I don't do this, personally.  Bitcoin fees and confirmation times would seem to make it impractical.  But I certainly agree that the potential for profit is there.  I'm just not sure how many people actually make money doing it with bitcoin or if it's even possible.

You profit off of the price difference between the exchanges instead of profiting from the increase in price of bitcoin. its called arbitrage.

Talking about arbitrage and its connection with the transfer's fee which often people worrying about. It's all always depends on your capital at the end. The majority of exchanges are now using 0.001 BTC as fixed charge for miners' fee, which means, it doesn't matter how big your transactions size are, the amount charged for a fee is fixed. Therefore, if you're trading with rather big capital like 2 BTC or above, it'll not  hurt you, just keep in mind that the price margin is pretty big that could cover up anything. Though, I've figured out the price margin between international exchange is rather big that 0.001 BTC is not going to hurt you that much.

Arbitrage trading is one of the best way to make profit from crytocurrency exchangers platform sites. I have try it before but late abandoned it because I find out that it demand huge capital and technicalities. If you have a technical knowledge on how to buy cheap in one exchangers like poloniex and sell high at another exchangers like bitstamp, it is a very good investment.

Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?

The thing is when there is a major price differential that you are able to take advantage of usually it's because either the withdrawals are delayed, deposits are delayed, a mixture of both, lack of liqudity or strict regulations that other exchanges don't have.

This means that even if on paper arbitrage is great and profitable, in practice it may even result in a loss, when you take into account market fluctuation, especially if you are withdrawing/depositing via bank transfer which takes a while to clear.

but yes, i do trade at multiple exchanges. Polo, bittrex, kraken.

Yes I do. I'm taking advantage of the price in every trading site so I can arbitrage my altcoins. This is something not new and gives me decent profit.

Arbitrage nowadays is really hard to do with bitcoin market.
The spread are really really closed ..
But you can do arbitrage with altcoin ...
Some altcoin give you enough margin to bring home a good gain!

If you're looking to do arbitrage, consider doing it with LTC.
LTC confirms fast so if you see a profitable margin between exchanges, you could send fast.

Good luck!

Even now arbitrage trading is possible for certain locality based users. Specifically over the Asian part the users have got chance of making good profit through arbitrage trading during the time of price peaks. As suggested it's good to make arbitrage trading on altcoins as the small price variation provides a assured profit.

I trade at multiple exchanges because many altcoin that does not exist in one exchanger but there are in other exchanger, also ico that launch is not easy to enter in exchanger that have high traffic and trust like poloniex.
To move funds to another exchanger it sometimes takes a long time maybe 1 day, I ever do that and the results are not worth it.
