IMO it would be much better if you buy 3 RX 470 in place of 6 RX 460
Hashing with RX 460 is pretty low and also the resell value of it
and after time you can also expand your system with more 470's

I have a visiontek rx 460  it is very low power but does about 11-13 for eth  and 95 for zec

If you want to buy it I could sell it cheap

I use 4x RX460 for XMR with 1,5kh/s and each card needs just about 45-55W what is not bad at all. But for fast mining the RX470 and RX480 is better.

The rx 460 is an old card I had lying around, it uses about 40w after OC and the rx 480 uses about 110W.

Given that the 470/480 are impossible to find right now and the 570/580 are almost impossible to find would it be worth getting the 460s?


One in the hand is worth two in the bush as they say

Mine with 460s until 470/480/570/580 crop up for sale then swap them out as and when you can get your hands on them

If you need cards now, buy some RX 560 4GB and return them in two weeks when RX 570 are available. Just make sure you can return them. I think Amazon has 30 day return policy.
