13 PCI-E plus an M.2 so potentially 14 cards.

That's crazy.

I'd guess windows won't be able to handle that many cards so it will be linux territory.

Not your keys, not your coins!

That's absolutely incredible !

Hopefully they will keep them in production line for some time and not cut it off like they did with the h81 which made these boards go on sale for prices much more than what they're really worth.

woah that's huge, you can run two rig in one, but why 13 and not 12? it's a random number or there is a reason behind this, i admit that at first this thing look fake, but seems legit if on their website, because if you google it you can't find anythign about, must be really really new, i'm already in love with this if it's real i was waiting for the response from asrock and i was expecting something with the huge profit minign is giving today

So one thing goes wrong and poof, 13 GPU down. Not worth the risk too me. I rather compartmentalize that risk to 5/6 GPU rigs. Also easier to manage with drivers / power / space / etc.

I guess the design is just a "look how cool" thing but totally not practical.

what you mean you can restart the rig if something go wrong, if you mean the motherboard get fualty, then yes, but see the thing from a saving point of view, you will save a lot with this motherboard, at least $400 every rig with this one versus two standard rig

I know what you mean. Guess "asiabtc" has some competition now from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1890812.0

Was waiting for it to be release to re-do all my rigs with server PSU and picos, but guess there is an alternative now. Which ever gets released first will get my money!

wow, didn´t get this one so far,
but from theory that chipset
I guess is missing some PCI-E Lanes (THX at Intel)

If that would be based on Z270,
I would believe more,
this is not a phantom of the opera (marketing gag)

 Shocked

... please make an educated guess !

They should of released this like a year ago when ETH mining started getting very profitable.

Now it seems like we are all on borrowed time with GPU mining.

That makes me drool just looking at it. My concern is with Windows (or any OS) and drivers --- will this actually run 13 GPUs without some kind of custom OS and drivers?

I certainly hope that they price it nicely.  Was there any time frame for the release?

Regardless of price, these will sell out in minutes, and have a purchase limit of 1 per customer.
