How to guarantee BTC growth

Hello everybody,

I think if BTC wants to go where it should and based on my experiences with trading, we should start taking Bitcoin off exchanges and instead list Satoshi. This will make BTC fly: psychology of price as a number. Do you pay 1/100 of your currency unit for one share without hesitation? Yes you do.

If this is possible, how this can be done? Who decides? Has it been persuaded ?

I do not have too much bitcoin knowledge, but with the current bitcoin situation, it will definitely increase in the future.

Too many times u can read lately oh i cant afford to buy 1 bitcoin what the hell should i do...
1st of all people should understand that they dont buy bitcoin they just change their money/currency into bitcoin.
2nd Who the f** ever said u need to change exactly 2345.50 $ for bitcoin or whatever the price is at that moment.
3rd What do u prefer.. 200 bucks getting less and less in value on ur useless bankaccount every day (not only every year) or 200 bucks that keep value in another currency with the potential to grow

I cant wait the day when bitcoin stops to grow... when there r no erratic fluctuations anymore... then we will have our freedom back

Well that could work if bitcoin was on a higher price and that satoshi trading will happen when the btc hits a higher price. Now, people will still be investing in it since the price is still relatively low comparing to the price that bitcoin can hit in a few years.

It is easy to guarantee bitcoin growth. In the world of economywe can apply it in bitcoin. When the demand of bitcoin is low the price will also low because the supply is high. And if the supply is low the bitcoin price is high because the demand is high. In short, supply and demand will always opposite.

yes we are also hoping so. but i think still there  is no such way or mechanism through which we can give the guarantee of Bitcoin growth. the price of bitcoin is unpredictable, although we can get some help from the different sources like social media, this form and other internet sources, but still we cannot surely say any thing about the price of bitcoin that either it is increasing or decreasing.

In a way the reward halving and increasing difficulty to mine new Bitcoins almost makes it necessary for price to increase for miners to be interested to spend their money on power to continue to mine, so its kind of built in, reasons for BTC growth.

I think you have a brilliant idea and I'm tempted to agree with you because if we rather project satoshis on the exchanges and replace it with Bitcoin the prices will shoot up even better and there will be a lot of satoshis for all and so Bitcoin can easily be a global currency afterwards.

i think that way too many people are considering bitcoin as something that will growth constantly, in some long period of time.
It is all about the market, nothing is guaranteed.

it is a good idea to start using a smaller unit, or at least start spreading the word about existence of smaller units. but that is not going to cause the price to grow!

Those are not the points. The point is this: Psychology of price number.

i don't think you can force this to happen, people will naturally buy more bitcoin, when they feel the right time has come to do it, now there ar emore buyers than in the last years, because adoption increase, after japan regulation, next step will be like this, another country will add regulation of bitcoin, or amazon commence to add bitcoin as meant of payment perhaps?

Suggest to make a very minimal investment on bitcoin. If invested ask them to be with patience to experience the growth of the investment. In this way you can give a 100% guarantee for the growth of bitcoin.

Very interesting idea.
For the most btc users such idea will not help much because they already know about satoshi
It may help to inspire new users, with less funds, to invest in btc.
This is a matter of psychology, of course.
You can suggest this idea to btc exchange sites, their admins.
Still, I think that btc promotion and education will help much more in order to bring new users to btc world.
You can't guarantee BTC growth, no way!

You don't have to persuade people.

There are exchanges who allow you to list the price in mbtc or btc.
Even the bitcoin client has this option.

But it's a pain in the ass to list the price in satoshi.

Not only it is hard to understand how many zeros you must add after a cent to find it's value but also the price of goods subscriptions etc etc would be too confusing right now.
You really want the price of a coffee to be listed like 200 000 satoshi?
I prefer 2mBTC.

I do not know how your proposal would guarantee the growth of Bitcoin. As far as I know, growth of bitcoin rests in the increase of bitcoin user. So how can we see growth there  if people does not even know Bitcoin/Satoshi exists. Propagation of information about btc is still the best method.

As for the new users or will start to be engaged in cryptocurrency, others might get interested on some alts rather that Satoshi because it has higher price than Satoshi. So instead of enlarging the popularity of bitcoin, the alts might stole the spotlight.

Even if it is associated with our psychology, I think it's a subjective term. I think  BTC 0.01 always looks far cheaper than 5,18,970 Vietnamese Dong, even if the value proposition is the same. Yes, initially it would take some time for us to adopt the change once Bitcoin reaches $5K or $10K like figures but then the price quotations will be according to the price and it will be most probably two figures. Satoshi, mBTC etc.

Those are not the points. The point is this: Psychology of price number.

I got your point.  Since Satoshi is less than 1 cent, it will look very cheap and people will start buying it.  Thus without realizing that they are actually buying Bitcoin which when seen as a whole is quite expensive.  This might do the trick and make bitcoin price really skyrocket.  Just imagine if due to demand Satoshi become 1 cent.  How much would be the whole of BTC cost?

This is what I've been talking about in the last 7 years I even suggested Satoshi to call bitcoin satoshi so people could be persuaded psychologically to buy more, I also demanded from US government to call cents instead of dollars., like calling $100 dollars 1000 cents.
