Btc or Ltc?

Im lookin for a long-term investment and have 1000$.
I cant decide if btc or ltc is better?
What would you choose?

Most people here would really choose bitcoin compared on LTC since we are on bitcoin forum anyway but still its your own choice and no one is forcing you or convincing you to buy LTC. Its still a good coin but regardless on moving prices I would really go on Bitcoin checking on its value and price it comes valuable more and more as the days pass by.

I would still choose bitcoin since it is much reliable and the future of the money that you will invest is secured since it is much more established and the users has been constantly increasing day by day together with the acceptance of countries with strong economic prowess which is backing up the rise of the price of bitcoin.

yes it is your own choice to select your coint for investment. but very honestly i will say that bitcoin is the king of altcoins, the benefit and profit that we can get from btcoin i think no one can even imaging from any other altcoin. but still when the price of altcoin becomes stable then we mostly decide to invest our money in altcoin section.

I think I would go with btc right now if you are looking for a long term investment and I think you will surely gain a profit from it,
But you could always invest in both if you are really confused right now why don't you just invest in them both if you think that they have a great potential.

Btc or ltc have the same results that are very satisfactory for the users, but it goes back to the participants, whether to btc or LTC

All you need to do is look at a BTC-E monthly LTC/BTC chart that goes back to 2012. Every two years litecoin has a pump and dump. Price is likely headed back to 0.005. Past history does not always predict future chart action but you have to give it weight when deciding where to park your money. If you missed this years pump 'n dump litecoin is probably not the best place to park your trading funds. Stick with bitcoin.

its good to still hold btc than ltc but if we want to invest our money in ltc then its good too like what traders that still holding ltc and they still have btc too. for long term, i think holding ltc is really good because now the price is increase and waiting for next high price soon.

The charts say you will probably have to wait two years for litecoin price to pump again. On the other hand, bitcoin is in a no doubt bull market right now. Would you rather double your money by investing in bitcoin, or probably lose money by investing in litecoin? The smart money left litecoin at the pump last month and went into bitcoin. No trader I know has a long position in litecoin now, they have lost interest.

For now I choose btc, all transactions easy to use and long term is very good to invest.

although bitcoin is the first choice, but some time when i have limited amount of  money then i choose to invest in altcoins. but mostly my investment is in bitcoin from where i am getting a good profit.

Directly i choose btc. But there is nothing wrong we also invest in LTC because both have different functions. Litecoin is made as a prime alternative to Bitcoin by providing lighter algorithm features to be mined, faster transaction confirmation features, and to serve smaller microtransaction shards of Bitcoin

LTC has basically shown what it's got throughout the years and its price is not going to go crazy either. I don't think it's adopted as currency in too many places which is pretty disappointing considering it's been around since almost as long as BTC. With BTC at least you know for sure you're not going to lose your money.
