Is DGB-Skein profitable? some people here mine this coin but its not even in the top 10 in whattomine. im mining hush, lbry, zdash, zencash and zcash for my 1080 ti.

Whattomine doesn't list skein at ALL on their "compare" page, so you have to go to the coin-specific page to get any data on it at all.

With that said, it's dropped enough the last few days for the GTX 1070 that ZEC is now more profitable - but it's still VERY close, and if there is another DGB spike you might end up making more if you hang on to your DGB for that spike.

I'm not sure where the 1080ti stands there - I don't have any (yet?) so I've not been paying attention to comparable profitability.

It does list DGB.

Mining at miningpoolhub with 20x 1080ti. 18000Mh/s = 7900 dgb in the past 24 hours.

Difficulty jumps alot for dgb, and earnings (in dgb) varies a lot, much more than zcash or eth. I think it's because the total hash rate is lower, and in general folks who mine dgb tend to switch to more profitable coins more often, like HUSH now, or zencash a few days ago.

http://imgur.com/a/KvNs4 (it shows 16600mh/s now, but it is 4 rigs of 4500mh/s)

Hi. With your setup, your msi afternurner can read and manage all cards with only one monitor plug in?

If yes, can share how it work?

I just plug 5 1080ti into my motherboard and it works out of the box (after bios update). MSI afterburner detects all cards. I'm using biostar TB 250 btc. 6 cards work as well.

Is DGB-Skein profitable? some people here mine this coin but its not even in the top 10 in whattomine. im mining hush, lbry, zdash, zencash and zcash for my 1080 ti.

If you are willing to put the time to switch algos, hush and zencash is more profitable. Not sure about the rest, never tried. But I know DGB is slightly more profitable than zcash, like $9.50 per day vs $9.

Which algo for hush and what pools can you use?  Can you post your bat file.

Using 0.3.4b

An update.

So i don't even know which one paid out but in my Electrum wallet- I received 0.0067 BTC - I've been trying so many things, that I don't even know which one paid out. lol

I will assume, this can't be tracked to which miner paid out? lol

I'm getting 600 Sol/s  on my Z-cash nemo's miner - =195 mhz clock and 400 mhz memory. -Any calculator to convert Sol into USD to understand the rates and compare?

No they are not, they are a different unit of measuring depending on what algo you are mining.  Equihash is SOL, others are Hashes.  Might have some that are measured in sols but off the top of my head.

Does auto switch really make a difference?
My miner mines Zcash a lot. But according to whattomine, it is not as profitable as skein.
How exactly does auto switch work? Can anyone explain a bit?
Thanks.

Hush is the most profitable for 1080ti for the meantime. im earning 12$ a day per card( i have 7 of them) with 760 sol/s average @ 245w. hush algo is equihash and im using suprnovapool. Hush, LBRY ,and Zencash are the top 3  profitable coins to mine using 1080 ti.

Yesterday I calculated my daily income for DGB-skein, and it was about 13.5 $ per card. Maybe it was lucky day, dunno...
I used Yii pool, and I have 950mh/s.

But I'll also try hush soon, because there was a pump two days ago...

P.S. Strange thing, guys help to understand if I am correct.
I'm mining about 16 hours in a row, and there is a pic: http://imgur.com/a/LQg9Y

Look there was a payout 12 hours ago, and since this time I mined 0.0042 BTC.
Doing math: 0.0042 * 2 * 2600 $ = 21.84 $ per 24 hours... What?

What were you mining on nicehash?

No I used zpool + skein.

EWBF 0.3.4 all the way i believe, thats what i use anyways, 760 sol/s on 1080ti, mining hush last day or so, not bad profit , thinking of trying that nemominer  switcher tho, see what all the profit switch hype is about ;p

ill post results in 24 hours on tht , gonna fire it up

Is it possible to get 800 sols/s on 1080ti ?
I think this is the only way to outprofit skein on equihash algo, otherwise it is less profitable.

i would say its not possible currently to get 800 sol/s as i bought the biggest baddest card i could find with that exact plan and maxed out at 760 ;p
and the card draws fuck near 400 watts at that hash!
Needless to say, i run it closer to 700 sol/s at 225ish watts in normal mode

Skein is more profitable sure but for like 5 of us, anyone adding even 1/2 a farm would kill the profit preeeeety quick, we need moar Skein coins!

I didn't understand how to config that EWBF what not.

I'm using nemo miner  and sometimes I get 759 and sometimes 630 Sol/s

I have founder's edition card. I'm at Memory clock +300 and Gpu + 195 - Power +110% and temp at 90C max.

I hover around 2025 GPU clock and 77C all day.

Are you  overclocked more than I am or you getting those speeds at stock?

I don't even know how much money I can make or am making since it's posted above that Sol /= hash

my clocks are -40/ -400 for that hash, 80% power= 700 sol/s too much power draw if over 80% power limit otherwise imo.
i left the options default otherwise, tho i did play with --solver 2 , its more stable but slower in my tests (readme says same)
i wonder if theres some bottleneck somewhere or a heat spot thats causing that jump in your speed? i admit i am not a expert myself to really say more :/
maybe thats how nemos miners works tho too im only trying it now myself, hard to find the time i usually just leave my rigs alone ;p

Don't you guys pay for electricity :-D
I run my 1080TI at 175-185W max on skein -> 900-930 Mh/s depending of the temperature (it's very hot this days).

Umm so that NemosMiner is indeed EWBF 0.34b lol

Does Nemo benefit from higher clock speeds or memory or both?

I have to keep power raised to 120% or card doesn't stay stable. or I can drop down speeds but then SOl drops to 586
