Zcoin, I have been playing around with the intensity.  Curious what you think is best for the 1080ti?

Intensity depends on your card variant.
BTW me mining on default 16 intensity.
3200 KH/s per card.

I think I am finding the default intensity is best also.  Getting 3200KH/s per card on all my aftermarket cards in my mining rig, in my gaming rig I have a FE card that is only getting 3000 though Sad

Two questions,

1. Anyone try mining BTX (Bitcore) on HR or Ahashpool? If so how did you do it? Any hashrates or profit per day recorded? Any Advice on OC settings for Bitcore ?

2. Anyone try OCing on Xevan? Tried to OC Core and Memory.. Nothing happened, maybe I wasnt patient also.

Thanks all.

My guess would be it has no effect because you might be cpu-limited. That Xevan miner is a car crash on Windows. 100% CPU utilization and unstable af. Especially if you've got a multi-gpu rig with a Celeron...

Yeah I havent bothered with it, I am using sniffdog which uses ccminerpalgin for it. You are correct its 8 1080ti on one GPU, but I am using i3-7100, still was very unstable..

My FE does 3100 at 60% power, +90 core, +450 memory.  What miner are you using?

Anyone else mining Zcoin on Suprnova and getting lots of rejected shares? I noticed a lot of "boooo" in red in my miner with a message saying that the share was rejected with a job not found error. Switched to Miningpoolhub and it's all working fine with not a single reject or error. I had been on MPH for about a week but wanted to distribute the hash load a bit. Using latest ccminer djm variant.

I love how people here make absolute statements about profitability of coins that go through massive moves in price and diff, and then blame whattomine for being off.

Crypto is a volatile world. Profitability changes every block. As long as people don't understand this, they'll blame whattomine for miscalculating, the pools for stealing and the whales for dumping.

Funny.

This is true.   Miners have to take a risk on what coin is going increase instead focus whats now.

One of my system is looking at the 24hr avg.    Every 24 hrs I log in the time and date so I could compare it has changes or not.   All you need to focus on big changes in difficulty.   Comparing to 3 day avg in whattomine does work.  If it's lower than 3 day avg you think the price would increase in the next week or two then take a risk and mine that.

It's pretty hard to find coins that would have massive increase in next 3 weeks.

Think like a whale they will bail you out.  lol

anyone here use the single algo auto switch in miningpoolhub? Can share how effective it is because I'm looking at lyra2rev2 which is doing well for our 1080ti but the profitability of vertcoin and monacoin change from time to time.

do we need to increase memory clock for zcoin? I always set memory clock -500 for 1080ti, I cannot connect my rig to test it now.

I see a lot of people starting to mine zcoin. I have problem, I installed cuda 9 and newest nvidia driver on my rig with 6x1080ti asus rog strix and started mining zcoin with ccminer over miningpoolhub, but after some time it stops mining and says "the launch timed out and was terminaterd". I set clock to: power 60%, core clock +80, memory + 400. I tried with more power and some other settings, but keeps crashing. Do you know what could be the problem?

try with no OC and power @80% and report back later

Setup this discussion so we know the best way to max out the potential for this expensive GPU.

We know from time to time the profitability shift, so hope here can get advise and suggestion for near optimum profit.

Best Algo/hashrate:
Which pool:
which mining software:
current expected daily profit before electricity:
Any OC (core/memory):

Or any tips on extra mod:

30/May/2017:
I currently tried EWBF miner seems like giving the highest hashrate of 705-720 sol/s vs Nicehash that gave 680 range. Both are point to Nicehash pool. Not sure is this optimised.

As many says that Skein can get like $350 a month but seems like my short try dont really sees good result. maybe I dont know the best way to setup.

Tried as you said, started mining at 2.800khs per card and crashed again after 15 minutes (again saying "the launch timed out and was terminaterd"). What could be the problem?
