the crazy alts scene lately has pushed me towards "Buy More", even tho i admit a few months ago i was in "hodl mode" haha
agreed, Voltas in no rush, im almost sure one could ROI another batch of 1080ti's before they drop, all these crazy new alts having crazy prices lately...
hard to say, this scene changes quite fast, all these shitcoins could dry up the second one places an order for more cards too Cheesy

Maybe when Volta arrives BTC is worth 0.001$.?. At current ROI waiting for Volta  is a joke. Our real concerns must be that bitcoin does not crashes before reaching ROI and that is converted to fiat, and that the top list at coinmarket does not get filled by non-mineable coins.

Vega is cryptonite monster, true, but in other algos it is not that superior. Pretty much limiting. 1080 ti is the king still for the time being.

How much of a cryptonite monster are you talking about? by a lot?

I have been pondering the same question as it seems the prices of 1080ti's seem to be creeping up and up.

ofcourse they are cuz not many left for sale in the world...

It is still profitable.  Depends on your definition of efficiency I suppose.  There are other things to mine that may be better options right now.

You can still do much worse than XZC.

Just curious. When you mine with a 1080ti rig. Do all the cards need to be exactly the same? Say they are all EVGA but a couple are SC, SC2 and a couple FTW3. Would that cause a problem?

All three of my rigs use different 1080 Ti models due to the availability of the cards at the time.  I have one rig with 2 EVGA SC2, 1 EVGA SC, 2 MSI, and 1 ASUS.  Been working just fine.

There's never a problem you can run 1060's 70's , 70Ti, 80's and 80 Tis on the same rig as well - it's just mixing brands will have different clocks which makes optimizing a PITA. if you just ballpark it and set it forget it and don't care then yeah there's no issues.

Memory is gddr5x = double data rate. 5005mhz * 2 = 10010 mhz running.
