What the hell did I miss, when did Tis double in price??

They're out of stock everywhere, so it's a resellers market.

I was considering trying to sell my brand new one... but I only have two and don't want spend the effort until I have some real rigs set up as these are just in my gaming desktop.

I see some people in the nicehash subreddit are saying they are getting better returns right now with them, anyone here try it lately? Right now running nemosminer with mph.

i'm minning Lux with 1080ti in altminer with CCminer Phi 1.0 https://github.com/216k155/ccminer-phi-anxmod/releases
This ccminer is suggested by staff Luxcoin.
It gives me 34,3 MH

My ti is doing 34,42 MH/s with the CcminerTpruvotcuda9 that came with Nemos.

I'm doing 38-39 with SPmods miner at 80% PL and +50 GPU OC.

hey folks

how can I find palginpav 1.1.1 for x17? the x86version. cant find anywhere

Better than Alexis-hsr version ?
It's the best x17 miner I can find for me

nicee! currently i'm splitting my mining rig in LUX and XVG Smiley
I would love to mine both of those and then hold for a year to see what happens.  Sadly with only two 1080ti it doesn't make much sense to split the hash so I'm focusing on XVG right now.  Even if I had the money to add hash there is nothing out there to buy.   Cheesy

hahaha ! Well said my friend  Shocked Grin Grin

You should try the miner the LUX team created for X17 as well Smiley

Is it possible to mine Luxcoin with yiimp on a cryptopia wallet adress ?

And what is the intensifty you use with ccminer2.2.4 for LUX mining on a 1080 ti ?

i'm mining luxcoin using zpool and paid in BTC, but i think it should be ok if u using cryptopia wallet address if you want to paid in LUX.
i use 20 for the intensity and it gives around 31 MH/s.

Finally, I prefer mining on the QT wallet.
I have 32mhs with 75% power limit with ccminer2.2.4

XVG is same profitability than LUX.
What do you suggest ?

In 120 years you might have enough for a masternode!

LUX looks like a scamcoin.

One theory is that Nvidia is low on stock due to them ramping up for their next gen GPUs and not producing as many of the current gen GPUs.... I don't know if that's the case or not, but since Volta is likely a couple months away at the absolute earliest I hope they are still making GTX 10xx series.

That would make sense but amd is also out of stock or overpriced everywhere, there were rumors about gddr5 shortage but thats old news.Last info i got from suppliers from my country is that new batch of this should come out in february and that they will be more expensive(over 1k eu for almoust all models)

I just saw a msi 1080ti go for $1220 on ebay.

Briefly thought about buying 4 titan xp and holding onto them for a while to see where this debacle goes.

Just can't bring myself to spend over 4500$ on some gpus. Too risky. For all we know next week stock will be there to satisfy demand or the crypto market will dive.

Just because someone is crazy enough to spend $1220 on a 1080ti doesn't necessarily mean they'd spend $1600+ on a titan xp even if that was literally all you could get.
My absolute max limit on a 1080ti for now is $850, even at that price point I won't jump and order one right away. Anything above that, I'll pass.

And now all the 1080ti are sold out at the biggest online retailer. less than 48 hours ago they had 50+ of one card and 25+ of another one, out of a total of 28 different cards. This is insane....

edit: 1080ti is officially sold out at every single online retailer here now. Just checked

I am building a new rig now and the prices for everything are crazy up, ram and motherboards too.  Cry

I was hoping to go high-end on this rig but I might have to settle for 1060s..

Hey Guys,

Some people would argue that an AMD 580 is the best card for mining, especially with Dual Mining support
What do you think? Is the 1080 ti more for "niche mining" or did you make the experience of having a better profit per watt ratio than AMD cards?

And just like that mining profits cut in half.
Isn't that because the entire market's value has dropped by half?
