Sure, this is best case scenario Smiley but not so real to get it here with big farm...
Maybe with Lyra2z, but not with more power related algos.
what is the problem to set low power limit to keep cards cool and effective?

Efectivity depends on electricity bills...  i dont play on perf/tdp %.. i play on real efectivity whitch mean how mutch less TDP saves your bills vs how mutch hashrate drops.

And if you pay in real 0,11$/kw its better to run higher freq & higher TDP.
No, when you keep cards cool they boost much higher than if they are hot. Higher boost clock leads to higher hashrate. Moreover with high temps semiconductors consume more power than when they are cold. You can easily check power at the wall when it is hot and when it is cold keeping other settings identical.

Pascal needs temps as low as 38 CDegree to get higher core clocks, so its unreal get to this point in normal mining farm. If you use properly delta, your boost will be same on 60C like on 78C..
http://hwbot.org/user/pkbo/
where do you find such a temperature? reference? my cards always between 45-65 degrees and it`s ok for me.

Iam getting payed for overclockig & testing... 38C i magic number here, if you get GPU lower, you will get extra mhz with same voltage... On higher temps, there is really no change between 45 or 80C, still same core OC potencial...

But you shouldnt exceed 85, whitch is point, where some cards will exceed TDP and boost comes down.

I found the sweet spot for the power target is aroung 2/3rds (67%), while still overclocking a bit.

only if you care about elecricity cost though.

Its not, but due to the sheet amount of neoscrypt shitcoins have propped up value for masternodes, it might be best right now.  I still refuse to mine it.

I am keeping mine at 65% tdp. Core clock +100 and try to keep the temps at around 55°C. Will try tu use them as long as i can. If any of the fans dies, i`ll just replace it with generic case fan.

I am doing the same. I keep the temperature low.

Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has an issue with the x17 algo taking ~5 minutes to come up to speed. I've tried a few miners: Alexis, and polytimos but they take about 5 minutes to come up to speed and im not sure why. Its a rig with 8 TI's, 40GB Page file and 16GB of ram. On either miner it reports ~36Mh/s for the first 3 or 4 minutes (like only 2 are hashing) then jumps up to ~140 to begin its climb over the next few minutes to its top speed of roughly 160 Mh/s. OC doesn't change this either. It does start all mining threads at launch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Where would I go to find coin difficulty on my own?

Is there a miner that finds low difficulty coins?

What to mine with 8x1080ti. I'm a fan of lyra2z, but seeing how MPH got swamped with bot-farms, the coin is no longer profitable to mine. The algo is cool though, very easy (or so it seems) on the cards so I'd like to switch to something else, Zcoin is a dead-end anyways.

Why do you think zcoin is a dead-end? I was planning to mine?!

You can try CRS (Criptoreal) at https://minadorespool.gq
Code:
-a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://us1.minadorespool.gq:4553 -u WALLET -p C=CRS

I think you can get 1700 neoscrypt for a 1080ti easily on low tdp.  I forget which miner, but its been widely reported here.   dont mine neoscrypt myself on 1080ti.  I wish ZCash was brand new again.  When is the next new coin coming out for us miners Smiley

You can try to see what new coins are there on this algo - as far as I know there is two coins which released few weeks ago - IFX and CRS, both are MasterNodes coins, so worth to try imho

Any other sites similar to this?

https://crypt0.zone/calculator

Also, if you can recommend any sites like jkcrypto, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Can try this,

https://www.crypto-coinz.net/crypto-calculator/

But no comments on the profitability accuracy but covers more non-mainstream coins.

it's always interesting to have a look to that site, but consider the results carefully, sometimes the profit for one coin will spikes but it's not real, so it's to be considered as a hint, but to be doubled checked

Yeah, I just checked this site. some values are just impossible. Like ZenCash --> 12$ pro card...  then refresh the site and the value is correct.

I agree.
And with 8x 1080TI you should reach 200 coin pro day. That mean after 5 days you can take a seat in a official shared masternode and then collect 18 additional coin daily. and repeat and repeat the process Cheesy
