some time ago where I showed two of my classmates my bitcoin wallet then the amount inside it as well as its price in my local currency and as usual they get curious too and asked how is it considered as a money or how it can used to buy stuffs.
You may show them videos of bitcoin how it works so they will understand. Also I always shares news about bitcoin and my friends got interested how I earn daily in bitcoin. So I show them anything about bitcoin like videos and they understands it. To spread bitcoin in society.Show them your earnings,show them your investment how much you had.Give them a practice to do.Give them advice it can change your life show them video tutorials about bitcoins. |

I play a MMO game which accepts fiat deposits for in-game currency. They accept credit card, paypal, neteller and maybe a few other methods of deposit. On their game forums I advocate for bitcoin as another deposit option via a bitcoin processor such as Bitpay, for example. So far, no success in getting the game developers to add bitcoin as a deposit option, but at least I have been able to spread some knowledge in the discussions for other players to consider as they wish.

I have taught over 20 people how to properly set up a secure wallet with 2FA and several places (and IRL locations) to buy BTC with card or cash or bank transfer. Sadly no BTC ATMs here in my area yet (SW Ohio)

Yap and mostly people IRL asks first how much you make then the process. But so far only 2 of whom ive taught made it so far they can stand on there own. Because most of them are not really netizens and they even told me that social life would be hard if you always work in the web. But yeah so far we are earning the same and the only difference is the time we work in a day. |

I only spread the word of bitcoin through family members. Because for me, its much better to explain to a someone close than a total stranger. Of course in the beginning you will received a lot of questions and even criticism. And I can even share them my personal wallet that I used to store my bitcoin so that they will understand why I love bitcoin as a way to earn and as a means of investment.
We exactly share the same way to spread bitcoin. I also started with my family members, my brothers in particular. I started with my brother next to me as he is already a graduate and does not have a job yet. The younger one does not have much time because he is still a student and quite busy with school works. The good thing with teaching bitcoin to family members is that the conversation is free flowing and more open and comfortable. Next in line are some close friends that already feel like family to me. Easier to spread bitcoin this way rather than strangers. The effort might not be worth it. |

Yes, social media is one of the best way to spread about bitcoin especially when you are totally active on it and many people can read your posts no doubt many can see it because it is publicly published. So to me I prefer to teach my friends and my relatives first especially my brothers who were just playing games in the computer all day. And also to my friends who are to totally financially in need. I tried to post it in my counts but they just ignore it. |

Social medias are a good way to spread the word about Bitcoin, there are already many people there doing this, calling the attention from their friends and followers. It's the most common way let people aware about Bitcoin. I can't say for others, but I have known about Bitcoin and had interest on it via social media, when someone told me about the new way to earn money online. Informal talkings in your daily life are a good way to introduce people into BTC world too. Sad that your friends ignore the possibility to use Bitcoin, maybe you should try a different approach.  |

Since the term bitcoin was on the ATM machine itself, no wonder they will asked questions to themselves, what is that all about? Good thing you have BTCitcoin ATM's installed in your area. Are there lots? Here in my country, we are using banks ATM to withdraw bitcoins. Normal isn't it? But what's surprising here if others will saw us, we aren't using any ATM cards so they will be confused how come we able to withdraw. |

Bitcoin is not widely known in our country (the Philippines) and not many people use it. There are only few establishments which recognize and accept bitcoin so its hard to spread the bitcoin knowledge through public or daily use. Unlike for others, we don't have a bitcoin debit card or ATM station although our local bitcoin wallet allows us to transact with local establishments. The best way of spreading bitcoin knowledge is by showing how it is used and the benefits it brings.

To be honest I'm not spreading the bitcoin knowledge, I'm just mentioning it to my friends, but not to all of my friends. I'm just entertaining those friends of mine that I know that really interested on doing this job. Most of the time I've experienced this typical people who are only interested on the first time because they thought that earning bitcoin is that easy, they didn't know that it will take time to earn big in bitcoin. I'm thinking to have a Seminar regarding about this thing, that I will share it to anyone who is interested to earn money online with bitcoin, but of course if they want to go to the seminar, they must pay a registration fee, and then it is up to them if they will take it seriously or not.  |

Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on. What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge?  I rarely use visa or master card here in our country because of to many credit card hacking but if I want to spread knowledge about Bitcoin I will just refer them to reputable sites like coindesl and cointelegraph or youtube video,they can explain it much better than myself. |

I share it through my earnings I tell them if they want extra money they can invest in bitcoin or do trading. But if they don't have the money they can join here in bitcointalk and I guide them not to spam and try reading first and the earning part will be next.

That is the best thing to do for a newbie as a guide in this kind of forum, we should refer them first to read the basics and also understand the rules in this forum so they will have a knowledge in the things that they need to do and the things that is not allowed here in our forum so if they will continue to explore it will be easy for them to participate in any kind of activity here in our forum. |

My professor gives us a activity to create an essay about anything else. Of course I wrote an essay about the bitcoin. I wrote on my essay the importance and the purpose of the bitcoin and I also read that in front of my classmates.
