I am not sure where this news popped but a google search could not find any valid news regarding this,is it possible to provide some sort of link to verify this news so that i could make up my mind on what to do next and if this is true,the price of bitcoin can increase in the coming days.

I never expected japan to be so dedicated. When i heard them adopting bitcoin as a currency i was like ok fine we will see and little increase in price, but japan became a player it added bitcoin to more than 100k stores , made freakin multiple atm in the country and now it's opening the largest trading platform also. I wish it's neighbour china was also like this.

Japan really acts fast as to what I expect but regarding Bitcoin it is surprising how it was openly accepted with the strong support of the government. It is not a long time ago when it has announced its acceptance but look at now how Bitcoin's roots are digging deeper and spreading. Also a lot of companies there has been into with Bitcoin and now this which is a really good news. Bitcoin also is used in paying flights you have booked in airlines.

How big of a giant they are? it's just a trading platform with other options to trade with but is it privately owned truly or is under control of the government? do you know that the price wouldn't magically increase or decrease unless there is a demand for it or a sell off(dumping).
Since Bitcoin is decentralized network and market there is no single point of failure like in traditional markets where only a sentence from a president could have a huge impact either positive or negative, but maybe the recent price rise is somehow related to this? I don't know before further research.

Any news coming from Japan seems to be affecting the price in a positive way and I think more of these financial giants are going to get their feet wet on bitcoin especially that there's a ruling in Japan that says they will stop applying consumption taxes on cryptocurrencies. Alt coins are also making big waves and it can only push the price higher once there are more financial firms that are approved to join the market.

i have heard that this platform maybe a trading place with zero fees. i want to check and see if they allow people from other countries to also register and trade there.

that would be very useful. a regulated exchange in a bitcoin friednly country with zero fees!

I just remembered this thread and on looking at the site,they still did not launch the site for bitcoin based trading as they once again postponed the release because of the delays caused by the network it seems,lets see how things pan out and lets see what their decision will be.

It is not easy to start a exchange just like that they have to first secure fully with full security and then the network should be installed strong and after that they have to test it so many times so that minor mistakes can be rectified. So i think first they solve all the problem after that if they start then it will be very good option.

As bitcoin has been legalized in Japan, this should be another increase for bitcoin in there.

Sure we need more zero fees exchanges and with all the Chinese exchanges making a come back after a long break allowing users to withdraw their coins and i would like to trade in countries where bitcoin is legal and it looks they are a good choice and hope they will start a robust system and attracts more investors.

So how much of a waiting time are we talking about to see what their decisions will be? It's been going in for a long time now without any concrete conclusions and so are we going to be promised all the time without the GMO trading platform coming into fruition?

In Japan after GMO other new big exchanges platforms should open, always regualted by the Japanese Financial Agency.

i read an article that they opened their bitcoin exchange platform and was greeted with an overwhelming demand.

although i have visited the website and sadly it is fully in Japanese and doesn't have English version.
but with a lot of working around this problem i managed to use google translate and sign up and go around a bit. it seems like a good platform but i could not find anything on their daily volume.

so if anybody has any information on their Vol it would be great if they could share it.
