What is the good altcoins to buy now?

It would be better to hold in bitcoin itself as the price is increasing steadily.If still you want to buy,you could invest in decred as i think it as the most under valued coin.

I think the altcoin worth buying is ARK and Ethereum because the ARK has recently increased and I think it will get better from now on.

Bitcoin is the safe option but it won't see the same multiplicative gains it has done in the past, altcoins are the only ones still offering big gains. I don't see that decred as a coin offers much, I would rather go for something like Aragon or Stratis or better yet ICOs. Bancor and Monaco are good ICOs for this month.

What is the good altcoins to buy ?
My observation,( not the research) tells me that when the mother btc rise towards north , alt coins follow the opposite direction i.e. south !!
                 But one should not forget that if there is a rise , there is a fall also ! There would be a profit taking and it would follow a correction. Then would be the time for the upliftment of the alt coins !! The time gonna to start  within a short time.
                 I would like to recommend blitzcash for great and quick returns!! Try your luck.. It's not a forecast but a suggestion my friends..

There are a lot of good coins around, how much profit you want to make depends also on the risk you want to take.
Most top 20 coins are save bets which will increase overtime but not that much anymore (relative).

If you want to take a risk than buy something that is still very low and has not risen that much yet.
I just stepped in Zeitcoin, which is a coin with a high circulating supply and has not risen that much.
The devs are active and i think it can be pumped any moment...just a matter of time since almost all coins with high supply have risen or pumped any time

I'm currently buying off ETH and storing them. Waiting for the prices to increase and will then sell it off.

Also, recently LiteCoin has started gaining a lot of importance too. The pricing is climbing but not as fast as Etherum.

"Self-Mining" caught my eye - will have to look into that. I'm considering setting up an 8 gpu rig and looking for good mining options. Any suggestions?

i have all of this coins and i hope i can see digibytes to jump like before. for siacoin and bitshares, i am waiting to increase too because this coins is not yet reach the highest price at the moment. for bytecoin, i think this coins can reach another high price soon so i still have the coins in my wallet. let see what is happen in next week and i hope its getting up.

I think the concept of Ethereum in general has several flaws, but if I had to choose one of them to invest, it would probably be ETC, since it's more decentralized, and it's not going to Proof-of-Stake

I would not invest in ETH. When the change to PoS is coming, all miners would change to an other coin. It would make no sense for the guys with the big hardware centers to shutdown their hardware and forget investments. So no one would mine ETH and the time for approved transactions would rise from seconds to hours! This would kill ETH. Without the possibility to mine a coin, there is only a chance to wait for an artificial pump, otherwise the coin would catch dust.

If you invest in long term btc is the best. Without btc you can buy only high ranked coin such as Eth,Xrp,Ltc. So best of luck
