Good observation, I never knew someone like you existed, dude!

I'm kind of maths and programming dude, not so good on languages like others, though! Cool

Hm, I don't think there are that many people who'd have difficulties picking up a new language, as compared to the tons of people who simply can't deal with maths at all.

I'd say however of the two skills I'd take a foreign language. If you know English for example you can use internet resources and learn math too.

Actually, I see many people who are good in mathematics who are also good in language. But not so much social skills.

Though for some reason, there are some who are good in languages but not that great in mathematics.

Mathematics is actually a number language, one of my friends who took college in the field of mathematics said; In fact mathematics is a pattern language and he is one of the most sacred sciences.

yes that is correct, but specifically if you are a mathematics lover mostly problems involving math are in english language, so i also do prefer that english is a secondary mastery for math lovers. I don't even believe to those who said its hard to study different language if your a math lover, then do try the vice versa if you're a linguistic then try study math then come back and say easy.

A person should just understand what he/she likes and understands more and study it and enjoy ))

Everyone has their own way of gaining knowledge.
some one can easily learn languages and some can easily learn maths.
Its depends upon once interest. Everyone have their own capabilities.

If you mean literature by saying language, you are true. I love numerical sciences and suck at language. It is hard for me to say nice things or explain situations with nice words. But if you mean learning a different language, you are wrong. All languages have some formulas like maths and it is easy to grasp it by maths people.

Maybe in some cases, but not all. I am both a human calculator AND dictionary. I have always been good at both. Learning both has always come easy to me

In reality, most of the individuals who are mathematically inclined are somehow not so good on language.Language ability are not so excellent. In reverse, those who are good in language are not so good or mostly hate numbers.Indeed, our creator divided equally our intelligence in different ways.

A few points:

Firstly, "language" can mean many different things - are you referring to eloquence, in the way an author or poet might express ideas or emotions? Or are you referring to someone who has a huge vocabulary?

http://gizmodo.com/playing-scrabble-changes-the-way-you-use-your-brain-1734003624

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/what-makes-nigel-richards-the-best-scrabble-player-on-earth/

Quote
For living-room players, Scrabble is about language, a test of vocabularies. For world-class players, it’s about cold memorization and mathematical probabilities.

So someone with high mathematical skills could be good at scrabble, without necessarily being an eloquent poet.

Secondly, it is not a black and white scenario - some people are good at both maths and language, but maybe terrible at art, or riding a mountain bike.

Thirdly, I don't believe in a creator, but even if one existed why would it "divide our intelligence in equal ways". Life is not an RPG, you do not get a certain number of points to distribute evenly among people's personality traits. The only way this would be true is if the whole human civilization was simply an RPG game played by our advanced creators, basically "The Sims".

Could be true, but there's no reason to believe it. Would be funny though.

Of course there are the extreme examples, eg. autistic people with incredible mathematical and memory skills. They might not be able to communicate very well, but many might be able to recite whole books from memory. Does this mean they lack language skills? It depends on your definition of language.

Guess I'll make that my sig, all the cool kids have one...

I am not very good with math so I choose language and since I am majoring in communication. Before, I find it fun dealing with mathematical problems but now, I am really having a difficult time solving them.
