Just to give you an idea of the scope of the project.

The idea is to dock the blockchain at a certain number of blocks. As an example. (Not actual numbers) We are on block 1000 and we wan't the blockchain to never exceed 1000 blocks in length. What we can do is pass the balance forward to the newest block leaving behind the transactional data. If a key has a balance it is forwarded but how that key got its balance is not. Block 1 is deleted and block 1001 now has its balance data. On and on in an endless loop. This will require more/automated checkpoints be added to the wallet/daemon to prevent forks, dedicated nodes, etc. But the end result should be a lean mean blockchain that doesn't become huge over time. Like any number of coins with a HUGE blockchain that must be downloaded first before use.

I'm open to input and am open to take on partners to help make this a reality. PM me if you have a great idea or want to join in on the fun.

Do you have a detailed plan for how this will work? To me it seems like the blocks are going to keep getting bigger and bigger even if no transactions are made as blocks have to repeat old transactions. And, how will you be able to verify the new blocks if the transaction data was discarded?

Check out MarkaPool.
Also check out my open source projects.
