It does give opportunity for us users of it either on investment or on the benefits that it gave to the community.
What benefits?
Thanks all for all the responses, from what I read, some of the major problems for Bitcoins are:
- High Transaction fees (For microtransactions)
- Delays (Unlike paying cash)
- No incentives for people to use Bitcoin
Would Bitcoin be just an investment to store your cash? For safety reasons? Looks like we won't be using Bitcoins in our daily lives after all.. Is there anything else we could do with
BTC?
Even the tipping service ChangeTip that provides a tipping service with no fees has discontinued, essentially allowing microtransactions.
Yes it is, because it is being seen more as an investment asset and not a currency, and that's actually good for it. At least by hook or by crook, it is getting attention and now everyone is getting on the train, and I don't think that there is anyone now who can devaluate Bitcoins unless some whales having more than 0.1-1% of Bitcoins come and dump them over us. I introduce Bitcoin myself to my friends as a way of increasing our paper money's value and there's nothing bad in it.
