Bitcoin prices are on the rise, what do you think are some opportunities that Bitcoin can bring to the community?

From what I see, BTC remains as a cryptocurrency for investments, business/online services, and we are not seeing a lot of these BTC in our communities (yet).

What are some ways to promote and make use of BTC in our daily lives? An Example I can think of is to make Bitcoin payment through mobile easier, like AndroidPay.

i agree if there's a big well established business that will accept bitcoin as their payment process it will be adopted by other's, and a shopping malls or a super market from well known place inside our country will start the popularity of bitcoin from the said place, so aside for being an investment daily use will also be a big factor to increase the value more.

This is actually a good idea!
If we could somehow approach the management company of a particular
Shopping Mall with the idea of having a payment method for bitcoin for
each individual shop there it would certainly raise the awareness and
useage of it.

I think until the value stabilizes, the fees expecially for micro payments and
the confirmation times are sorted out its going to be difficult.

Usually bitcoins are used for investments. But the problem with this is that it is creating a lock on bitcoins where prices just continue to rise and people just keeps their coins. Which also translate to it's prices going up due to the scarcity of it. But when the time comes, that prices reach a certain point that everybody feels it is right to sell, then prices will plummet pretty bad.

I know this is great and all that bitcoin can now have a direct transactions with all the things we want but I think some countries would surely be against it, and if not the countries peoples knowledge towards bitcoin is very limited right now even though the price of bitcoin is at large there are definitely media blockage and I think over a 45% or less in the world had a knowledge with bitcoin well that is my speculation about the percentage but I think it is surely low,

There are already many web wallets that offer mobile wallet which can be used to receive and send bitcoin by just scanning QR codes. And I have also heard of few local bitcoin wallets that offer bitcoin payments via SMS and email. What we still lack is number of local shops/merchants who are willing to accept bitcoin as payment. There are lots of reason for this and one of the strong reason is price volatility bitcoin have.

I totally agree, there are no incentives for people to use Bitcoin instead of cash too, looks like for now it is used more widely on online platforms. Bitcoin could be used like a credit card so you don't have to bring cash around. Most people around only knew about Bitcoin after the ransomware attack.

The bad thing about Bitcoin that it is volatile compared to USD so it is like stocks, a mobile 'investment' where you can carry around. Still looking for ideas to promote Bitcoin and for any Bitcoin related services .

You can also print a QR code and your personal address. There were people who did it back in the day and earned some donations.
It works both ways. Helps popularize bitcoin and brings you profit, even if it's just a small one to compensate the cost of making that T-shirt.

You will not see a member sharing how many bitcoin investment he/she has that's why you don't see it much discuss in our community for security purpose.

For business/online services, I think there are few I saw that is putting business and accepting bitcoin payment. You go try explore marketplace thread. Personally, I have a offline business and I just used bitcoin as additional cashflow. If I needed a new capital I just withdraw my bitcoin and convert it to fiat then put the money in my offline business.

For me bitcoin is really a great investment for every body as long as you invested in bitcoin earlier but I guess until today it is really a good investment for everybody I really expect that the bitcoin price will increase rapidly in just a small period of time so I guess it is really profitable until today no doubt about that.

Correct, nowdays fees has been increased to 0.001 btc as a default minimum fees for the transaction. If you use other networks with the low fees option likely 0.0002 btc or something are not get confirmed in 30 minutes to hours.

These above mentioned high fees only preference to transact the bitcoin in normal time.

Yeah, I agree with you that bitcoin is not currently accepted in actual communities much by merchants. I hope that this fact can change in the near future as more bitcoin adopters come. I can see a lot of growth in terms of online merchants accepting bitcoin but i guess physical merchants are reluctant to do so because of the high fees and high transaction confirmation times.

Opportunities? Well everyone can invest in bitcoin, that's for sure. It's accessible to anyone anywhere, even in countries like Venezuela where cash is worthless. You can trade p2p, so no need to wait for banks to open. If someone can make a killer app for bitcoin like you said, that will probably be used by every bitcoiner as well if it succeeds.

Yes, it is a great investment, for everyone and I think everywhere. but on one condition, sir.
We have to be smart, we have to know what will become a good insventment and what's not.
Because, nowadays lots of scammer lure a new user to invest their money in some kind of, how do I say this, like future investment, using sweet talk that saying, you could double your income with bitcoin using hyip and all. It's not wrong, but we have to be more careful.
And nowadays, transaction fees really high, I like how btc price rise real high,
but I do hope fees and transaction time will become more smaller and faster than now.
