Important information regarding an update to the FUCKtoken smart contract - PLEASE READ!
Hello FUCKers! If you've been following our Slack, you might've heard about an impending update to FUCKtoken's smart contract. Well, the updated contract is finally ready, has been audited, and is ready for release.
The reasons for this update: we decided to remove mining from our smart contract altogether and to fix a couple of minor bugs. After this update, the total supply of FUCKs will be only allowed to go down. A deflationary model makes more sense for the project as a whole, as it complements the token's burning capability with the tip bot.
We are asking that anyone with FUCK tokens hold off from trading on EtherDelta or Novaexchange for the next 24-48 hours. Also, please do not transfer between wallets, or use 0x protocol OTC, etc. You do not need to do anything for this contract update—we are just asking you to hold off on transferring during the process.
In 24-48 hours check back here for an update on the token upgrade. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
Do not send your FUCKs to anyone asking! Remember there are scammers out there. Official announcements will be made ONLY by me, and I would never ask you to send FUCKs anywhere!

Thanks. We think it's the best move as well. Hopefully people will still tip their FUCKs no matter the price. Good thing is you can tip down to .0001 FUCKs. The main purpose of limiting the supply was to avoid what happened with Dogecoin, another joke token.

His analysis is good but he fails to take into consideration that cryptos are following the typical S-curve or J-curve of adoption. Bitcoin took 9 years to reach $30B marketcap but Ethereum only took 2.5 years. Newer coins may take even lesser time. The cycle is getting faster as more people are getting onboard. Obviously the growth rate will even out after a point of time. There will be boom and busts along the way too, it's typical of any other marketplace. Also, the crypto market is more liquid than the stock market or just about any other market and that always helps to speed up growth. |
