Las Vegas coin sounds very interesting. I like the low supply of coins, only 330,000. This coin will be my next to invest with. I hope I can afford the Masternode. If not, then just the normal POS. and While waiting for the right timing, I will be watching this.

Mining this coin is over and the only way you can earn VGS is to either buy a masternode which is 1k VGS coins or to start staking which it is recommended to at least have 200 coins to stake. Just buy your coins from Coinexchange and have them sent to your wallet for staking or like I said you can set up a masternode which costs 1k VGS coins. Both are good but the masternode will pay more in the future but right now it pays the same as staking.

Guys, I think there should be a limit on how many Las Vegas coins there should be. I’ll lock the current poll, and display the results for about a week,  then create a new one with some options between 1-2 million coins total.

Vegas

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

Trying to build the latest release instead of master - the build syncs successfully and there are a lot of Darksend verify errors in the log so I have a feeling that the recent string changes on master might have broken this, causing the node connections to be dumped after sync.

Latest release successfully built, MN up, hypothesis verified.  I have a working Mac wallet.

Darksend errors (CDarKsendSigner::VerifyMessage -- keys don't match) occurring when I build from master, I went through all the string changes and apart from a couple of missing bits everything seems fine regarding those.  I now think the cause of the error is somewhere in here:

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/LasVegasCoin2/commit/dbe3e5e7544b260112e2fc8205b2c1c447330ced

I've submitted a PR for a load of tweaks and string changes.  Vegasguy, let me know if you want the DMG for v2.0.0.1...

Yes , please post. To everyone, as this is not from me,use at your own risk.

Yes this is a great idea Vegas!

I'll be voting for 2 million as that seems like a good amount for a coin like this. Even 5 million is a good amount but I'll wait for the poll and then make my vote. 2 million coins would give 2,000 masternodes if everyone was able to own a masternode, even at 1,000 masternodes that would lock 50% of the supply away so 2 million seems good for the amount of coins needed for a masternode.

Guys Las Vegas coin is a mere $1 right now. Thats just $1000 to get a masternode that with the next update will have a VERY fast ROI now, and even faster with the next wallet release.

Limxdev runs many big projects, and does not have the time to dev the next wallet. Is there someone out that that can be our new dev that is capable of making these changes in exchange for VGS coins as payment? Do you know a good talented dev? 100 VGS bounty to find us a dev that completes the work.

I might know someone on Twitter that might be able to help so I'll send him a message to see if he can help with the new VGS wallet. I believe from what I have seen this guy I know has worked on several coins already and has a lot of experience. I'll get back to you once I receive a reply.

I have sent that guy I know on Twitter a tweet so hopefully he replies soon and lets me know if he is willing to develop a VGS wallet. I told him that he will be paid in VGS coins and that the current price is around $1, so now we just wait.

@Vegas

Have you heard any news from CMC listing VGS? its been a while now since you sent in the request to be listed on there. Hopefully its not too long now as this will give VGS the boost it needs for exposure.

I think we won’t get listed on CoinMarketCap until we have more volume. My plan is to get it listed on all of the Naster known block explores after we update the Wallet to hire rewards for the nasty notes within an attractive ROI

Yeah true as I believe CMC want to see at least 10k USD volume consistently before they list coins. But I have seen on some occasions that they list coins without this much volume so I'm not sure exactly how their system works when it comes to listing coins. I hope you can find a dev soon to work on the new wallet, it seems the guy I tried to contact isn't online much so not sure if I'll get a reply from him anytime soon which is a shame.

Hey vegasguy,

I got some good news! That dev I said I found on Twitter got back to me and said for you to get in contact with him on Telegram. His Telegram is @tkskdl1980 and just let him know that Cryptotrader85 on Twitter told you to get in contact with him. This is the devs Twitter account https://twitter.com/ihook98

I also have another person interested so if this one doesn't work out please let me know and I'll get back to the other contact that got in contact with me.

Never ask from someone to recommend you where to invest your money. There is always have a risk.
You have to investigate yourself and after that to decide will you invest your money in any coins/project.

Perfect said. You must do your own research. As not to be biased, here are some hints to eliminate 98% of the crap coins out there.

Here is what to NEVER do!!!

1. NEVER Buy an ICO. Guaranteed 99.99999% loss!!!
2. NEVER Invest in a coin were the dev is a newbie. Here is why: The dev has a strong influence on the direction and strength of a coin. There is a reason why the newbie dev is not using his Ledgendary account, and that is because he is not staying around. But, it does NOT guarantee that a legendary member will stick around either, but its not a 100% guarantee he will abandon the project after a few weeks/months like all the newbie devs.
3. Check the mood of the thread. Are people angry? If so avoid!!! If they seem happy, then continue to look.

So , hopefully I have eliminated 98% of the coins you should NEVER touch. Take your time with the other 2%.  I will strongly endorse DMD. I am not affiliated with dmd, but I DO know most of the investors very well as well as the Coin OP, Cryptonit, can be trusted 1000%. Also you can safely invest in ANY/ALL Limxdev coins. He is 1000% honest also. He has many coins to choose from, including Bitsend , Bitcore, and more.

Here is his git.

https://github.com/LIMXTEC

The top 7 coins are ALL awesome!!

All of these coins are safe to invest in because of his extreme trust level.  Also buy LOADS of ltc Wink LTC is simply my opinion.

I tend to agree with you on this, I found a dev that can work on the new wallet but not sure if vegasguy got in contact with him or not? The dev that I found has worked on Unify with their new wallet and web wallet so that is why I got in contact with this dev and he is willing to help out here. Once all is complete then we can start marketing it much more, I have made a few tweets that has got some attention along with a good friend of mine on Twitter which is good as it shows that some people are interested in the coin.

Mac Wallet built from master.  The Darksend errors turned out to be due to the string updates, the magic hashing prefix having changed from previous wallets.  This is now reverted but can be put back in with the MN reward update as everyone will have to update their wallets then anyway.

Here is the file uploaded to my server. I will also post it on the OP. Again, this is NOT my code, use at your own risk!!

www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/Lasvegascoin-Qt.dmg

There IS a virustotal for MAC, but requires a mac. Can someone scan this, plz?

https://www.virustotal.com/en/documentation/desktop-applications/mac-osx-uploader

Once all is confirmed, I will send 50 VGS to the creator.

Working on getting a linux wallet made now.
