Once this is complete, maybe its time to start marketing VGS as it needs more promotion and maybe the Twitter account needs to be more active as it gets people interested in the project. Still not many people know about VGS so we need to get the word out there!

Ok, so I just spoke to one of the most talented devs I know "Griffith". I worked with him for over a year, and he is awesome!!! He is very trusted. Registered in 2013, and is Legendary member, and really knows his stuff. So I asked him if he can completed the masternode update to change masternode rewards to 2 coins in about 1 week, and I wait and see what he says.

This should have a great impact on buy support, because Masternodes will get all the benefits. I would setup you VPS now for multiple masternodes, because it wont be long before the update is out.

Also when a wallet update is sent to the exchange. The wallet update can sometimes be in maintenance for 1 week or more. GRAB your Las Vegas coins NOW!!!!! (before this happens)  

I STILL love the idea of casinododes with multiplier jackpots and will ask the opinion of at least 5 good devs what they think. I will then repoll and see if people want it or not.

Griffith can also make self contained staking android wallets!!!! (Not sure if he can do IOS)

Mac Wallet

Can someone verify that the Mac wallet I compiled works on their Mac - I believe I fixed the bundling error reported a few pages back, but the reporter never got back to me and I am keen to collect the bounty for this, I spent quite a lot of time on it.  It is the latest version, 2.0.0.3:

Linux Wallet

Is there a bounty for compiling a wallet that works on other versions of Linux besides Ubuntu 16.04?  I run Ubuntu 17.10 and the Linux wallet does not work at all.  We should have a QT Linux wallet that works out of the box for most Linux x86_64, I can compile one for the Ubuntu and Debian last two versions at least.

I'm very happy to see that you found a dev to work on VGS and get the new wallet released. I just know that VGS will be huge one day with everything that is being put into the project. I love the new graphics on the OP!!! Man they stand out and will catch people's eye when they visit this thread. I'm hoping that its okay with you, if I can use that VGS image as I can use that to promote VGS more on Twitter as I have been using that VGS coin image and the VGS street sign image. So I've been helping some people out in Discord DMs with this, might as well post proper instructions here.  The following sets up one node called lasvegas_node1, and assumes you know how to send yourself funds with a wallet, and can use the linux editor vim.

Instructions (assumes one node called lasvegas_node1)

<on master wallet>

<Send 1000 VGS to yourself - must be exact>
<Tools menu, debug console>

Enter the following commands:

The result of this is your MN private key.  You need it later.

masternode outputs

The result of this is your MN transaction id and index in the format "{tx_id}": "{index}".  You need those later.

<Tools menu, open masternode configuration file>

Add the following details in this file in the following format:

lasvegas_node1 {VPS IP address}:60702 {MN private key} {MN transaction id} {MN transaction index}

Save the file and close the wallet.  Open the wallet again.

Run the following commands to compile and install the VPS wallet:

Now edit the VPS wallet config file:

You will need to wait for the VPS wallet blockchain to fully sync before you can start the node remotely.  
Keep running this command, eventually the value of 'blocks' will stabilise:

Disclaimer

• This has been tested with Vultr Ubuntu 16.04 instance ($5/month).  The $2.50 instances should be fine for a single node but they are always sold out in my region.
• Don't use IPV6 addresses, I have yet to see the script work with those for any coin.
• The script supports more than one node per VPS instance but I prefer to keep mine separate so haven't tested that.
• This is not my script, but I did the LasVegasCoin integration amongst others, this should be merged upstream when Florian gets to my PR, it's been sat there a while with the others.  Seems he's busy messing around with Achilles Coin

The plan is this:

1. Griffith will change the masternode rewards on Las Vegas coin first.

2. Then a drastic reduction on the POS rate of XDE2. Right now is 300% with a 4 hr minimum. When Griffith is finished changing the masternode reward on VGS, (About 7 days) he will change the POS in XDE2 to 30% on XDE2 to prevent run away inflation. Right now there is only 318,000 in the money supply, I want to change this very soon, so it does go much higher. Thats STILL a tiny number in crypto.

3. Then back to VGS. We need to take a hard look at Jackblocks, and the effects it will have on Las Vegas coin, with its jackpot multipliers. Remember these multiplier rewards will ONLY go to masternode holders only.

Now we need more people spreading the word on social media, tweeting seems to work best in my opinion along with YouTube. I'm going to ask a good friend of mine if he can make up some banners/images for VGS that we can add to our tweets when making tweets. I always prefer to use images when tweeting as it catches the eye of the people looking and makes them stop and read the tweet at the same time so I'm hoping he agrees to making some up for the community and I'll offer him some VGS for making them.
