Not sure about anyone else here staking is getting a lot of stakes daily but I know I am which I wasn't before on the old wallet. Is this because not many people have updated to the new wallet yet? It just seems strange to me that all of a sudden I'm getting like 6 to 10 stakes a day when compared to around 3 or 4 on the older wallet.

Here is whats happening:

People are taking 1000 VGS, and creating a "casinodes" (Masternodes). So before they were staking .5 VGS, now they are NOT staking 1000 VGS, and instead getting masternode rewards. I like it this way, everyone gets more. Gonna test the 32bit wallet, and if everything is ok, release.

Thanks for the reply Vegas, Well that is good for people coming in with a small amount of VGS as they can stake and earn some rewards and slowly build there way up to running a masternode which is the goal with most people. At the moment I don't mind staking as the rewards are okay but I do plan on setting up a masternode in the next couple of weeks.

Closed my newest wallet, opened older version, and orphan frrom 2 days ago staked.
Weird, see if it holds or turns back into orphan. Or if any more orphans turn into stakes.

Dennis, you MUST use latest version as found on the OP. If your having trouble. Resync your wallet (delete all from roaming except wallet.dat), then , when it is all synced,  then click tools--> wallet repair ---> recover transactions 1, and youll be working great, and it will even remove all the orphans. That simple.

Did exactly as you said to do. New wallet not working, getting orphan stakes and losing connecting nodes. Got only one active node.
Started out last night with 16 nodes.  New wallet has been acting screwy since I first uploaded it and opened it up.
This is the current version from your down load link: v2.0.0.3-0978135-dirty
Really??? Is this the correct version??? Dirty??? Apparently is correct version, still losing connections. Start out with 16 active nodes,
then over 24 hours have none. Do, I need a config in roaming app now??? If so, need template for it with active nodes.

The versions are being updated , and will report correct V2.5 version soon. Last time I remoted in to you a few years ago and  squared you away. Please PM me, and we can do that again.

What is the current frequency for a MN payout? (ballpark...)

I have always gotten a few per day.  Today, I got 2 payouts around 7am, but I haven't gotten one since.

When I look at the "masternodes" tab in my wallet, my MN currently shows an active time of 00:00.  Nothing has changed (as far as I know) since 7am.  Any ideas what may have happened?

I am not very well versed in Linux.  I am wondering if maybe a reboot of the wallet on the VPS may help, but I don't know how to go about it.

So far of course only saw your subject about Las Vegas coin. I do not know so far as it is necessary to react to such idea. But here obviously what that is not enough and it is necessary to finish and work a lot very much probably. Also that that I do not observe active communication and support from community. Perhaps I what do not see that now. And here everything is normally possible.

As of April 1st all accounts must have Google 2 Factor or cannot trade or deposit coins at CoinEchange.io
Not sure if they actually instituted that policy as of yet??? But was said on home page of exchange.
If you already have Google 2 factor, then it is probably the wallet having issues. My wallet loses connections
after being restarted. Intially have 16 connections, right now down to 1 connection. Debug consul had intially
39 masternodes, now only 28. Not sure what is going on with new wallet??? Version before wallet was real stable.

Not sure what the block height really is??? CryptoID says 40833 and my wallet says 40819.
Looks to me there is a fork or forks causing the problems. New wallet was on same block height as Crypto ID
Then some how got off the same block height. Not sure what the real block height is? Sure it is
causing nodes to drop off of my wallet.  Not sure if it is just me or other people having similar issues???

 2) Start this new version of the wallet and it will find the peer nodes with the newer version.

This node is configured to allow the new wallets to find peers with the new version and sync with previous version wallets.

VPS users can go to there directory that they did a 'git clone' (from the Vegas-Guy/LasVegasCoin2 GitHub repo) and run 'git pull' in that directory to download the latest source.  Then run:

Your new binaries will be in the src directory.

After new resync block height is currently at 40862. Seems about right? Made sure I am on your node which I am.
Wallet currently still syncing sporks, still have 1 connection. No master node connections as of yet. Have to wait till
wallet fully synced. Currently wallet been syncing sporks for 25 minutes now. Still same block height 40862.

That looks good Dennis.  This is the beginning of the changeover, so until Masternodes and more wallets are updated the wallet will keep up to date on the blocks but will not fully synchronize.

Depending on how quickly everyone updates their wallets and Masternodes it could take a couple of days before the network is stable again.  This is unfortunately what happens when a protocol change happens after the hard-fork.  The network is fragmented and this new wallet is attempting to herd the cats back together.

I didn't have time to get a Block Explorer up and running, but I am watch the Cryptoid BE to make sure we stay on the good chain.  The faster people upgrade the better chance we have of getting stable again.
