Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now. Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins. But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost. Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?

It is hard to predict price shifts of Bitcoin, altcoin market evaluation is even harder. The only clues we have are bitcoin related news. But news alone is not enough to fully predict the price. I will give you an example: scaling upgrade is scheduled to be executed in August. Normally this would be bullish news - but I expect that right before scaling upgrade will be initiated there will be mass panic. Newbies, skeptics and care bears will liquidate short positions to get rid of BTC in case that something would go wrong.

The idea with trading is to increase the number of btc you have so in that sense the price doesn't matter. That being said I still wouldn't recommend trading as 99% of traders end up with a loss so unless you really know what you are doing its not advisable.

I would rather wait for a good ICO and make sure i read and understand everything what their business proposals and will contact the team and then take a decision to invest with them and that is how i am making my money in the trading industry. It is good business for now,but you have to make sure you are investing in legit ICO.

I don't think that is accurate. I have read and done some research. While I would say most people who trade may not be successful there are a lot who are. I am not new to trading. Just new to trading cryptocurrency.

First, we can't really predict the path of bitcoin price. But for me the price is strong and most likely to go up in the next couple of weeks. You should have bought btc's when the price dip at around $1800-$1900 last week. But since the price is slowly moving upward now to $2300-$2400, so I doubt it will go down to sub $2000 again. If you can afford to buy it now then I suggest get some small portion of it and see how the trend moves. Just remember that invest on what you can afford to lose so that at least you can mitigate your risk. Goodluck to you.

D not wait for any moment but start the trade as soon as possible as the price will now not drop to down but the price will increase more. You have to buy bitcoin at what price available now as in the future it will increase and you will earn the profit and if you want to start trade with altcoin then remain alert as there are a lot of scam and ded coins do not invest in these scam and dead coins.

If we talk about trading it is about business.Evryone goes to a business must prepare himself for a lower and high income. To trade is a very good idea to make money, because you have the assurance to earn money. That if you succeed theres a way to your business to become a big source of your income.

If you're looking to trade altcoins you're just trying to get something that rises faster than bitcoins so the amount you purchase bitcoins for is irrelevant.

Trading Altcoins is a dangerous path, but worth it, if you are ready for the swings of pumps and dumps.
Firstly, before getting capital in order to trade, you should pick yourself a nice exchange (Poloniex or Bittrex will do – huge volumes and various coins to trade).
Secondly, you shouldn't care about bitcoin price when trading BTC/Altcoins pairs, because, as said above, you are raising your bitcoins, not your USDs (Bitcoin is your main currency here).
Thirdly, if you want to trade BTC/Altcoins, you should start low to know how things roll.

After bitcoin hitting drastic price changes, there will be no wonder like you many people are getting into bitcoin trading or adopting bitcoins for first time just for the reason of trading it. When ever bitcoin gets new ATH, people do come forward. But people who are only caring about developing trading skills, finds good times.

This seems a good idea, and in fact I use to do it. For example, if I want to start buying ethereum but the price seems too high, I start by buying a fraction of what I am willing to spend. If I have $200 to buy Eth, I only buy $20 expecting a better price to buy more, but if instead of lowering the price keeps going up, I keep buying minimum but consistent amounts.

That's a good idea to start anyway. And I would advise this gentleman not to buy crypto on margin if he doesn't know what he's doing. Leverage works great when you're on a roll, but it can wipe you out faster than you can blink when things go south. And as to whether bitcoin is too high...that's the thing. If you wait for bitcoin to come down to a certain price, what if it doesn't? What if we're on the way to $3000 as I write this? That's the question that every trader has to answer for himself, and there isn't anyone on this forum who can tell you with any certainty where the price is going to be by the end of the evening, much less a month or a year. You got to make that call yourself.

If you will start trading as soon as you get your bitcoins then the price doesn't matter because you will just use it on trading and it will grow if you are a good trader and you will just continue trading until it reach a high amount of bitcoin. In my opinion as long as bitcoin doesn't reach up to $2,500 it is a good buy for me but it depends on you if you will follow my buying of bitcoin.

I've read about some investors in the stock market buy stocks periodically. If someone were to buy $1200 worth of shares in a company, they will buy $100 worth of shares each month. that way if the stock price fluctuates, they are able to purchase the stock at a lower average price. The only disadvantage is that you are sacrificing some profit for more safety.

You should not wait for trade, just try with little money you have to make profit. Replace your strategy in the right coins, disciplines, patience and see the result. Learn with small step on real market is very important, you'll know how better your method & skill you have. As a trade we only wait for sell, not to buy. Hope you find your answer & good luck.

I would really suggest researching into the stock market. Trading is a risky business but right now appears the time to take some risk in crypto as the profits can be quite large. Familarize yourself with how to read a chart and understanding how volume can impact price. Do you want to be a swing trader (high to medium risk) who buys when the price is rising and sells once you hit a small profit goal? Do you want to be a day trader (very high risk) who is looking to get in and out over the course of 1-2 days? Do you want to be an investor and slowly build your position over time (safest)?
No matter what be prepared to lose it all, and understand that losing trades happen to the best investors.

well it is better to study how price move in trading i.e PRICE ACTION rather than relying on speculations, and the best avenue to study price action is by using a candlestick chart with this price can atleast be predicted based on the candlestick formed. So getting into trading you require both fundamental and technical analysis before embanking on trading.

Bitcoin itself is definitely IMO climbing to 3k in the next couple months, its gonna destroy that price too, 5k easy by this time next year for sure! If you wanna get into trading play the margins daily, Bitcoins volatility makes for a GREAT environment to learn to trade in, just start smal till you learn how the movements go Good Luck man, it's a crazy place, where dreams are made and broken daily

Altcoin trading is a good trading field to the people who want to start trading and also make money with it and it is also easy to do because it doesn't require you a lot of complicated analysis just to make good trading because a good fundamental analysis will be enough for you to make money and you don't need to do a lot of things.

It's already 2.5k and the price can rise even above $3k but I wouldn't advise you to invest now when the market is highly unstable. Except selling it for USD on exchanges like Kraken, there aren't many trustworthy sites and plus the price is not stable at $2000. Better to set a profit margin and trade and have a reasonable margin (not above 5%) since you are a beginner. ETH is the best option as of now. I bought it when ETH was 0.03 BTC and now it's about 0.1 which means my profit is about 70%. The investment is also less compared to BTC and it's as reliable and profitable. Choose polo or bittrex to trade.

I would recommend waiting a few months. I would also recommend spending a long time learning about trading fundamentals. Learn how to determine an asset's value through fundamental and technical methods. Learn value investing. Practice paper trading. You can do that here: www.demoinvestor.comBe careful, and don't stay exclusive to crypto. Diversify and manage your risk. You are not going to become a millionaire overnight, but you could over the course of a few years with a LOT of diligence, patience, and eagerness to learn. Good luck to you!

Its very hard for now for bitcoins to return to $2000.It has been already predicted that bitcoin would continue in bullish trend through out this year.So better buy it now itself even though the price is high.Bitcoin price has yet to go more heights.

Both of it (bitcoin and eth) will continue to rise if you miss this chance, why now? Because bitcoin has good development/acceptance in many countries such as in Japan, China and South Korean right now which has highest exchange rate, and maybe we will pass $3000 in this month. If you want to wait for cheaper price, better to learn every year charts and how many projects/company use bitcoin or ethereum for their medium of exchange due many projects use ethereum blockchain for their developing.

I would not start to invest in bitcoin now. Of course can it grow more, but if you take a look at the chart, then you will see that it always decreased after a high. Despite of this, other cryptocurrencies with an unlike lower price level have an unlike higher growth percentage. We will see what was the right decision later.

How long will you wait for that "reasonable cost" and what do you think is a fair price to that. Ok what if the price goes $1,500 during the bearish market, will you buy? I doubt you will because you will expect that the price will decrease more. The same question asked during the recent correction price and now look at the current price. No one really knows what will be the trend that's why you need to risk.

In my opinion, yes, I can see bitcoin to reach $3K milestone in next 3 months but should I advise you to hold your bitcoins instead of trading? No!. I would say go with it but start will the less quantity and high frequency so that you would be able to get an idea and understand the behaviour of the markets. Initially, learning to defend your capital for some time and the look for the profits is a good way to start imo.

Everything you said might be possible and might happen and no one would able to tell you the exact right position for you to make trades. We wont know if the current price is the new floor on its price or its just reaching out its new peak.Knowing that bitcoin price tends to go up and down without our notice. If i were you since we can able to purchase bitcoin in smaller quantities or parts then its still okay to go in on this price point if you are basing on news on upcoming months then you will assume price would go more higher.

A lot of speculations have been running around stating bitcoin to reach 3k anytime soon. If you are unsure though then I suggest for you to wait until when btc's price would dump after the correction. Remember, don't spend something you can't afford to loose. And in this case if its trading, losses are already expected before you can even bet on a certain coin.

If look at the current progress, maybe it could reach $ 3k but I think maybe a few months ahead. And if this happens it will be good news for bitcoin users and will boost confidence to reach $ 4k next year. And it would be nice if continue to hold bitcoin because it could be a good investment and safe in my opinion.

The growth of the bitcoin on price chart is directly proportional to the growth of the users and demand in the market. Now considering the market conditions and the perception about bitcoin in outsider world, I have no doubt that we will have at least 100% growth in next couple of years in the user base. There are many people (users/investors) are waiting outside, looking for a perfect opportunity to join us. I believe we are going to see $5K on the price chart within a couple of years.

I believe the best thing to do is to start buying now, a little at time.. if the price will go up, you will be happy that you bought now - if it will go down, you will keep buying more and so on (just don't invest all the cash you have, but a small portion every time you feel like it)

As no trader is capable of predicting exact low prices for buying, following this strategy will ensure them buying at possible better average prices. We can follow the same thing when we are going for selling. But with respect to potential of bitcoins, we do not need to sell bitcoins for at least next 10 years.

I think you need to study how the market work as you cannot really make it in trading without adequate knowledge on fundamental and technical issues on the asset you are trading. Expecting bitcoin to fell to this in just a short time may not happen as you could have taken that opportunity last week.

Yes, I am sure bitcoin is goining only to climb higher next months, someone even supposed the top point as 3500$ before bitcoin will start to drop back. I think you may wait for yours < 2000$ very long. You can start to trade with that amount of coins that you have now, yes, the profit is going to be not so big, but at least something. Good luck!

For me he can invest in ETH too together with BTC. Though btc is very promising, but it is quite expensive right now, but still it has room for improvement or to grow. Also, in the case of ETH, it is quite popular right now, it popularizes the Eth platform and more Tokens are being successful being launch here.

Fundamental and technical analysis knowledge are very important to achieve success in trading. But we do see people are thinking about making money from trading but none of them focusing on learning phase of trading. I guess a trader always must focus on improving knowledge so that we can withstand any type of market volatility/fluctuations.

Bitcoin is very high,... or too high for me it raises too fast and people hunt for more. I dont think it is a good sign, I like the price rising but if it is too fast then it is scary. Trust me, I have quite lots of btc, but we have to maintain the price not only to raise it if someone wants to buy it. I dont think anyone could predict the price,... if I could advise, chekc ICO and cheaper coins from your fiat directly (like coinbase to buy other coin - not btc).

I will say you start the trade to buy bitcoin.

When I trade altcoin I always use the averaging strategy (buying more when the price goes down) since I am not good in TA yet, and I can say it is very effective.

With altcoins the price pumping won't be happening often, so used to hold and sell even if the price increase happens to small margin.

One way to learn all these is to start with cheaper coins like Bitbay or Bytecoin which the price is just 0.00000125 BTC. Read it that its better to trade with cheaper coin and high quantity. You will have about 5Million of bytecoin and you can seriously earn trading and accumulating more of it by simply dumping and buying back each time.

The same applies to me. I am that kind of person who panic sells everything in case of market crash so as to at least get back something instead of becoming a bag holder. I am kind of working on my situation and want to start day trading and I kind of like arbitrage, it's like easy and free money, you just have to buy and sell at right time.

I've been trading crypto for a few years and had zero prior trading experience... I make more money when I keep it simple. I suggest staying far away from Poloniex and use Bitfinex instead. Bitfinex currently has 8 coins... and that's all you need to make money.
Every month, I predict which 4 coins will gain the most ground within that month... that means I stick to one coin per week. I know people say don't put all your eggs in one basket, but I'm looking to pull off only 2 trades per week that yield massive profit. Last month was my most successful month. On May 1st, I had $50,000 in crypto... today I have $250,000.
I invested everything into LTC. Segwit pumped, then I dumped everything into ETC. BTCC pumped, then I sank everything into XRP. XRP pumped, then I dumped everything into ZEC. Yes, i did miss the Morgan Stanley pump. Oh well. Couple days ago I sank everything into XMR before that pumped. Then, went back into ZEC last night at 3 in the morning and made about $30k off this mornings pump. Sold at 0.11 BTC.
Bought about 1,000 ZEC at 0.1 BTC couple hours ago and think I'll sleep on that.
Be smart, do hours of research every day, and trade like you got balls.
Invest actively and trade passively.

Invest actively and trade passively.
Does it mean we should focus on long term analysis so that we can get assure profits ? I need to agree with as my experience with cryptocurrencies has proved this many times. The key difference between trading and investing is time duration taken for profit booking. When we invest actively, we may need to wait for some longer period and with respect to bitcoin investments the more we wait, more the profits. But active trading also will be profitable but we need to perform it with the support of strong technical analysis skills. Otherwise just focusing on investing would be a perfect decisions to prevent losses.

Traders deal with that every day, what you have post now. You wish to buy 1 BTC or 1 ETH, and difference in price here is big. With 1 BTC you can buy 10 ETH, but what will bring higher profit in next few days or months, everyone would like to know answer on that question, that brings profit. I think price of BTC will go even higher, ETH is climbing like crazy also, so maybe best is to split your money on half an buy both, you will make profit on one coin that is good, risk from losing money is not so big.

Depends a lot on how much time you have to trade or if you want to set long term sell/buy orders and keep discipline in letting the trades happen. If you want to stay online and watch every movement you must be prepared to take short term losses. Trading is easy, making profit is not!

Even you will wait for btc to get back at $2,000 you won't see it anymore. The correction is done already and the price is ready to fly to the moon. If I were you, just buy now and on how much you afford to lose. Many sees that the price is possible to get up to $3k so if I were you, don't wait for it to fly to $3k before buying.

Depends a lot on how much time you have to trade or if you want to set long term sell/buy orders and keep discipline in letting the trades happen. If you want to stay online and watch every movement you must be prepared to take short term losses. Trading is easy, making profit is not!
Me? I just want to focus on simple earning.
Monitoring really eats up a lot of time when you got hooked with it. I dont like doing that because I got some work to do. A long term would really help so that I wont have to keep checking the price of one altcoin. Maybe he could do that too if the time is too important for him. An android application where they have alarms for a price that is set really helps.

Before you go into the world of trading my suggestion to you is first study all the altcoins and how will you trade and also when will you trade. Work smart also for you to earn a lot of money but there is a high risk in the world of trading.

Having bitcoin right now literally is very high so far, but if your gonna look forward about in the future that bitcoin will become 10,000$ you will never notice the value now is high instead its cheap. However, before end of this year it will really become 4000$ to 5000$.

It may be as simple as that but there are a lot of factors to consider to be able to make a successful "buy low sell high" trade. Status of altcoins, btc's price, the movements, its easy to say trading is as simple as buy low sell high but it takes a lot of effort to get the right timing to make profitable trades

I think you need to study how the market work as you cannot really make it in trading without adequate knowledge on fundamental and technical issues on the asset you are trading. Expecting bitcoin to fell to this in just a short time may not happen as you could have taken that opportunity last week. Fundamental and technical analysis knowledge are very important to achieve success in trading. But we do see people are thinking about making money from trading but none of them focusing on learning phase of trading. I guess a trader always must focus on improving knowledge so that we can withstand any type of market volatility/fluctuations. Well, it is basically trading is the place to get a lot of advantages. So when we want to get it then it must have some sufficient knowledge in order to be able to get a lot of things that are fun, extremely dangerous Trading if we just play in the usual way only. you need to know, trading has a very high risk. So when you play with mediocre everything could end in defeat

BTC will climb higher probably during this year, it may be slow or fast. Trading is risky, make decision for your self and do research first. Compare the fiat get in the crypto, if reasonable then it is okay that the price is likely to be higher.

You should inititate trading altcoins if you want to take advantage of market more effectively as we can see that altcoins price are also increasing as bitcoin rises which is somehow inverse/different from what people are expecting.

A recent news quoted that, some market research predicted that bitcoin will hit $100,000 within next 10 years and I agree that it may or may not happen but as we all know that it will move in upward direction in the coming future.

Simple rules are the best, no need to use some advanced analysis techniques, formations or indicators. We have a bullish trend, no arguing with that, therefore every sell off should be used to buy. Period.

I won't say it never, because something could be happen which cause bitcoin price crash such as a big exchange get hack. But for now bitcoin still has steady increase and more likely to rise than fall down. If you want to wait until bitcoin price decline, than it may take months. Better to buy small amount of bitcoin whenever a dip occurs, and start trading.

And if ever there will be some sudden crash very soon, I know that it will make a pump again in the future. That's I believe with every single move of bitcoin today, we will see the dip but in return it will fly up to the moon.

Bitcoin loosing value below $2000 will really create a great avenue for people to buy at the cheaper rate and sell when the market value increases. But based on the recent development and the current bitcoin price it will be difficult for the value to move below $2000. I believe is better to buy at the current market value now, than to wait with the hope that it will fall below $2000 which will never come.

Yes it is also a good choice, but what if it turns out ico we follow ended scam? No bitcoin results we received from this bounty. But this is still a good choice in my opinion as well, collect bitcoin from bounty ico and start trading from the result.

For ethereum i think better to wait for the price down if you are planning to buy ethereum the price right now is overvalued.

I can say that just wait for the effect of the event in august 1 for bitcoin because it might go dump if things will not be well done and just resulted for a mess. In ethereum i think it is just a bubble and just hype because of the latest good to go ICOs that promotes good promises to their investors so it also makes the price higher but soon we will see a very huge correction in the price of ethereum. Just be patient and wait for the right time to buy, keep observing.

For getting into trading, in my opinion we do not need to wait for any event to happen. Only the long-term investors should wait for some big events to happen, a trader does not need to wait for those things. We can start once we are getting ready with skills set to trade and we should respond to the news and events accordingly time to time. But these things will be will get into different approach for the case of investments.

Did you caught up when the price of bitcoin was at $2,100? If only able to buy a single bitcoin by that time then you surely got almost $300+ profit today. And with the pump again, it's better that you buy now because it's now bound to get up to $2,700 and will possibly back again to that price. But if you think your good at eth, go.

Getting into trading requires some knowledge. Trading cryptocurrencies is not just the art of buying and selling just like the convectional trading. Cryptocurrencies and forex trading requires knowledge in both fundamental and technical analysis and there are a lot of avenues to learn it e.g youtube. forums and forexfactory. Knowledge of Japanese candlestick pattern and Price action is enough to know when to buy and when to sell.

Yes other than capital requirements for trading, one new trader must focus on gaining knowledge on trading skills before getting into this high risky yet profitable career. Trading will be good only when we are avoiding losses or at least keeping the losses at minimum levels. Otherwise long run in trading will not be possible. Trading has some basic protocols on how to be started and how to be done for successful long run. When are breaching those basics, we cannot expect successful trading career.

Iy really want to get into trading, you must study the basic terms before proceeding in the platform. And most of the time traders applied scalp for them to to get profit of bitcoin.

I do not think scalping will be easy strategy of trading bitcoins. When a person first time entering into trading, I believe scalping will not be a suitable method to begin. In forex trading scalping might be a profitable way of trading but definitely not for highly volatile markets like bitcoin trading. Passive way of buying - holding -selling would be suggested to novice traders.

Trading is not that easy game to play because it has a lot of big players who can eat your capital within a few minutes so it is better to be careful with your decision. If you want to get into trading then just register your account and learn the lessons thru experience because nothing can beat experience in terms of teaching people who to be better or the best.

Considering OP wasn't even sure at what price to buy in to bitcoin I don't think he is ready yet to start trading. I suggest learning about the things I quoted above and additionally to start trading with a very small amount while you get your bearings and learn from your real mistakes.

Maybe i'm new to bitcoin trading, but after i learned of course there is a difference between forex trading with bitcoin trading. And right now i'm trying to learn about altcoin trading which is solution when bitcoin price increases like now, although with a little capital from the tap i've been doing for last 5 months i can get a consistent profit of 0.2% / day And it seems to me a great benefit for a beginner.

trading is all about adding you number of satoshi and not increasing dollar.. No one can certainly tell you if btc will rise from here or fall now but one thing is almost certain btc price will generally increase over time itz not yet at it pick.. best thing is to start now give no excuses. if at the end price goes up then you will be glad you got in but if price goes down then you buy again for it will certainly increase again so for me its win win .. But if you are new to trading i will advice to start with what you are comfortable losing because trading is not as easy and straight forward as it seems it has its pros and cons just like any other thing ..it takes time and some mistake to become a pro.. 90% of traders lost in their early stages ...

Bitcoin will climd up to 3k$ fo sure, and it can be stop at all. Now if you want to get into trading you must study and learn first the basic procedures in doing trade. because without it, it will all be useless even your in the place of platform I

Hesitating may make you lose a lot of money in trading so you have to be firm with your decisions. If you've made your study about trading and you know which cpins to deal with, then start now

I think it's better to buy now while the market in crypto currency is quite stable. Everybody are expecting massive pump in bitcoin and altcoins by august or september as segwit gets activated. This event can help to develop the crypto currency adoption.

If you're really just wanting to get into trading then you already know the obvious: you need to get BTC. Its price will be almost negligible for you at the moment and these are why:
1. You want to trade crypto, and it is their values against BTC that you will be wanting to look at. BTC's fiat value is not important. In fact, most alts rise and dip against fiat in the same pattern that BTC does. 2. You want to gain BTC from trades, not fiat. Focus on this first. If you make enough profit on BTC, whatever fiat value it loses would be offset. If fiat value rose, you gain that much more.

I think most of the people have the opinion to buy bitcoin in the current price because it is trading in low price right now but will not wait for a long time here, therefore it is better to trade bitcoin right and then wait for the price. I myself waiting for the price then it cross 5000$.

I think the bitcoin price is still unstable is still likely to go down or up, but if you have interest to trading with bitcoin can start from now to buy it. I think if have ability to trading it seems no need to wait bitcoin price down.

You should have bought btc in january when its price was $1000 or before two months when its price was $1800.But even now,its not too late.Bitcoin is predicted to move in bullish trend through out this year.It is normally predicted that bitcoin price could cross $3000 by this year end.So better buy bitcoins now.

Don't expect to much in tradings since you might gonna caught for unreal situation upon your trading times since there are some fuds scattering around and if you expect to much on them you will get a high chance to lose on some matter, But if you are aware on different type of loses that needed to avoid for well you can defy and can able to maximize your earnings on your trades.

If you want to enter into trading you can start anytime you dont need to wait until the prices go high right now its a big chance for many traders to take profit while altcoins were at cheap prices. You can't maximize your profits if you will only based on BTC and USD price the market was too volatile there and it it much riky to trade btc than altcoins in my own experience.

You can trade anytime, different is the target you want to achieve. I think you should be able to take advantage of the standard but can constantly get it rather than get big profits but only once. Think that trading is a job that requires consistency so you can benefit greatly from many of the selected decisions.

Trading is so broad when it comes to the product but in the world of bitcoin becomes more challenging because it isn't an obvious way to get money. However, it may consider as untrusted to some but it's up to others opinion whether they believe the power of bitcoin's advantages in trading or not. For now focus on trading bitcoin at your own convenience.

It can really give you out good profits but depending on how you do trade and how do skillful you are. Trading cant be learn on a short period of time and it does need lots of trials and errors for you to get the right formula. Perseverance would be mainly needed here.

I just want to share my strategy. I think its common to all pro traders. I discovered that its not good to trade while bitcoin is in correction phase or retracement period. During this period altcoins are dropping like hell. So the best way is to not to trade and wait for Bitcoin to reach its dip before you buy altcoins.

Price can go even lower in coming days so the best thing would be to sit and see how price moves in coming days and if it goes even low then that would be good time to buy bitcoins so right now even I have put my buying on hold and will buy only if I see massive decline in the price.

I think the bitcoin price is now entering a stable number, so to wait down to 2k is very difficult, You better start buying it and play it on altcoin, and just to take profit in every day, may be profitable, let alone the capital in use can survive in a long time.

Yeah. It is really effective if you will invest your money to the altcoins. It is really hard now if you will buy btc today. It is really expensive and it is hard to afford it. So in the altcoins there is a possibility that many of them will pump up.

You've stated things about bitcoin newbies need to know. If you are totally new to bitcoin its a great thing to know the pros and the cons on bitcoins system. You may include the weaknesses and the positive thing in regards to bitcoin transaction , system and security. For more development its better to take a monitor for the price and the changes. It is formally the basic form of trading where you buy when its low and sell when its high for you to earn and to adopt on changes.

But after August 1st possibilities are there it may go down or go up anything can happen. So if you have time then wait or else start your trading with altcoins. Now we have a number of coins to trade so do some research and start your trading.

I think what will I recommend is divide your funds into two parts. You will use the 50% to buy the bitcoin at its current price. The next 50% is you will use to buy in case bitcoin has dumped. But in case it doesn't happen and it pump, you already did buy some with half of your funds so you will have no regrets.

Well the price is not high right now, the price will be only rising as of now and don't expect any downfall for a few months at least. Getting into trading itself means that you must know that what's the best time to buy and what's the best time to sell bitcoins. If you believe the price is high right now, back your decision and wait sometime, you must have confidence in your decision if you cant simply guess right now how will you trade further

If you are expecting the price less than $2k, then wait for some time, but according to me, you have less chances to get this price. You don't need huge money to strat trading, and waiting will not teach you anything. My suggestion is to start with small amount and suppose if you get a chance to buy <$2k you can buy some coins and use it for your trading.

Bitcoin is predicted that it would continue through out this year in bullish trend. So we could not expect bitcoin price to fall below $2000.Until,bitcoin price is high, altcoins price will be low. So,if you want to increase your bitcoin volume, you can buy altcoins now.

I think 3000$ per bitcoin is nearly close to be happen, and to maximize your profit you need to wait or invest bitcoin/altcoin according to your capital investment. So involving yourself into trading is not that easy to predict, meaning it needs time and effort to study it.

Well the price is not high right now, the price will be only rising as of now and don't expect any downfall for a few months at least. Getting into trading itself means that you must know that what's the best time to buy and what's the best time to sell bitcoins. If you believe the price is high right now, back your decision and wait sometime, you must have confidence in your decision if you cant simply guess right now how will you trade further It's not that easy and simple if you want to know how to buy at a good price, because if that coin you are purchasing is not capable to rise it's price value then you will not gain profit in the future. That's good to wait for the price to decrease somehow because if ever you brought that coin at an expensive value, well it certainly be sold by most holders and sadly price will eventually lowers down.

You should have bought btc in january when its price was $1000 or before two months when its price was $1800.But even now,its not too late.Bitcoin is predicted to move in bullish trend through out this year.It is normally predicted that bitcoin price could cross $3000 by this year end.So better buy bitcoins now.
i totally agree with you at the end of the year bitcoin cross 3000 dollar and now bitcoin is going high in price and using by all kind of people. If you want to get into trading you need to buy bitrcoins and spend good saving on it Trading will be beneficial for those users who have fine knowledge about trading and investing so at the very first buy some bitcoin .

Exactly! When I first entered the cryptocurrency world and got into trading the people who guide me told me that there is no perfect timing in buying bitcoin and altcoins if your plan is hold it for long term, because if you plan to hold it for 3 or 5 years then for sure the price will be high by that time.

Well said. Bitcoin and other altcoins are not just for an buy and sell or scalping because when you want to earn a big profit long term is the real deal because in trading the time is the key to earn as you will look at the graph every coin from the start the price is low but now that is multiply many times, So buy and hold is the good way of trading.

You can trade anytime, different is the target you want to achieve. I think you should be able to take advantage of the standard but can constantly get it rather than get big profits but only once. Think that trading is a job that requires consistency so you can benefit greatly from many of the selected decisions. I agree. Trading on bitcoin is really risky since we do know the price of its do change anytime and its too volatile. It can really give you out good profits but depending on how you do trade and how do skillful you are. Trading cant be learn on a short period of time and it does need lots of trials and errors for you to get the right formula. Perseverance would be mainly needed here. Considering Bitcoin a risky way of earning is a stupidity. If you see the progress of the exchange rate of Bitcoin you will definitely believe in the improvement of its worth. My uncle bought some of the bitcoins few years ago as his friend advised him to do so. And after few years when the worth of bitcoin grew, he was really amazed to see that how can a value of an online currency grow this much rapidly. And when he exchanged those bitcoins with the paper currency his profit was 3 times greater than his investment. Bitcoin gives you a lot but only if you have patience. You just have to wait for the right time.

You should go in now if you haven't already. This is certainly the perfect time to buy Ethereum as it's about to head back up. I doubt Bitcoin will go down below 2200. You should probably just face Ethereum and hold.

to me as we can see that bitcoin is trading too much stable it has now started increasing gradually, therefore to me i think it will be more profitable to invest money in bitcoin instead of anywhere else, because in bitcoin trading there is no risk to invest your money.

I think the bitcoin price is still unstable is still likely to go down or up, but if you have interest to trading with bitcoin can start from now to buy it. I think if have ability to trading it seems no need to wait bitcoin price down. And buying a few bitcoins does no harm since you are gonna trade and you will accumulate bitcoins only, I mean even if the price is a touch high than the expected price but you will earn your profits in bitcoins too so you can easily compensate there. I have been trading a lot and recently bought 0.1 bitcoins for trading too and I don't regret since the price has got up only and I have got some fine profits with my trading too.

Practice trading here first http://[Suspicious link removed]/simplemargin
They let you use their platform with demo money. If you profit more than you lose, then go for it with real BTC.
Right now i am just planning to trade some of my bitcoin but I am still in the process of learning it, but after reading some of the threads here in the forum I gained more knowledge about it. Will think of if again. Thanks

because in bitcoin trading there is no risk to invest your money.
Not? If there are no risks involved, how do noobs end up burning through their entire holdings in a relatively short period of time? How do even experienced traders take occasional hits when it comes to trading? How do whales end up growing larger? It's because they control this market with iron fist. If you can't ride the waves they create, you'll get eaten alive - especially with a mentality that is similar to yours. Not being able to see and understand what risks are involved in trading is very dangerous. For your own well being, you shouldn't be doing any sort of trading.

I would rather wait for a good ICO and make sure i read and understand everything what their business proposals and will contact the team and then take a decision to invest with them and that is how i am making my money in the trading industry. It is good business for now,but you have to make sure you are investing in legit ICO.
Any good upcoming ICOs that anyone suggests?

Any good upcoming ICOs that anyone suggests? Not that I know of, right now I can't seem to find any good ICOs in the altcoin sub forum but if in case you happen to stumble on one of the ICOs, you might consider the dev team, road map and public support since those are the vital parts of a successful coin that will not be left behind by the dev.

The truth is before you actually get into trading you need first to educate yourself for the basic and the prior of it. It would help you to get yourself ready and more productive on the point that you can avoid doing mistake particularly on decision making on trading. Monitoring the price is quite hard for those who don't know how it may become easy. The thing is you need to prioritize on making a wallet suitable for monitoring , holding and transaction for you to monitor the price according to your chosen transaction.

As a beginner OP has to look up to each and every aspect of the trading. Its not as simpler as getting into a system and start earning. It need you to be smart enough to handle ups and downs regarding the worth of currency. Secondly, patience is the most important key here, if we talk about the trade. Smart decisions will lead you to the success.

Another thing important is the capital, because only based on that will be your earnings. Finally diversified investment should be done, specifically I can suggest to buy at low price and if this hasn't given a good pump don't sell, just have patience and use the capital to invest into some other coin. When the price pumps you could sell and profit. This is why patience and capital is much required.

The idea with trading is to increase the number of btc you have so in that sense the price doesn't matter. That being said I still wouldn't recommend trading as 99% of traders end up with a loss so unless you really know what you are doing its not advisable. Caldero, you are right. That was my though too when I read through OP's post. He really doesn't need to wait for price to crash if he actually wants to trade Bitcoin or altcoins. We only wait for the price fall if we plan to just hoard and then resell whenever price goes up. However, I don't agree with you on the part that many who trade end up losers. People make money from trading cryptos the same way they do trading Forex.

In my opinion, capital management and keep safest your funds always important than find a ways earning extra profit everyday or patience wating the price recovery to your base when wrong. Example: With STR in last month, I bought at price @2800 sat/STR, if I still patience wating the price rising up again, at now I will get take loss -400% in last day when the price drop to @700 sat/STR lol! Accept take loss and wating the price falldown can helps you buy a lot of amount altcoin and better than waiting recovery

Not only smart decisions will lead to success here we need more skills in trading. Speaking of aspects trading have many aspects although having a patience is the number 1 enemy of a trader you must be in a good patience what I mean is the the altcoins you bought is worth the wait and not only some pump and dump scheme coins and in the will dump hardly. As quoted patience is a must without which only the luckiest earns and the rest stay or quit ending with loss. Accept take loss and wating the price falldown can helps you buy a lot of amount altcoin and better than waiting recovery So its ul to your own decision making if you example STR i will wait until it pumps back altcoins were dump this time and it is a chance to buy more STR in my own opinion .or either if i loss -400% i will just wait than to lose that big amount .if you have some bitcoins to buy other coins its good but if you have nothing but STR do a cut loss .

Just as what I observe although not as always. When bitcoin goes up alts goes red and when btc goes down those alts going green. Before I started trading I was also trying to wait for bitcoin to come down but then my brother told me that for as long as I saw a good coin to enter then I should grab the opportunity rather than depend on bitcoin price.

As in some altcoins I will say start only short term trade as if you will wait for long term with any altcoin then you will lose as some altcoins remain alive only for some period.

Keep more patience and wait until the august month. Im not sure what will happen in that month due to segwit situation. But people around are saying it won’t affect the prices very much. However the race has already started and keeping the patience would be beneficial for us. And yes bitcoin will rise anyway so doors are always open to invest into it again. :-)

As far as I know, on 1 August there will be changes so btc prices may increase or decrease. But if you find the right one, invest now and do not wait, chances are that you will lose out right away. And with the btc price falling below $ 2,000, I think it's impossible because it's too different to the current price. But do not expect too much and depend on btc. you should pay attention to other altcoins.

Breaking those challenges of unpredictable mature must be the key for success in trading. All the people are getting into trading with the confident of predicting price movements acculturate. Some people gain knowledge and becoming experts to predict market movements and some people keep on learning but before having any clear idea they enter markets and facing losses. Anyone can get into trading, but to have success in trading , we must learn basics of predicting market movements otherwise trading will remain as highly challenging one always.

Your waiting should actually be over boy. Well, actually, you may wait before July 21st and observe the price of bitcoin. I think it will not go below $2000 though so I think you can buy your BTC anytime now.
Don't wait too long because instead of going down it will rise on the contrary. Just buy and trade alts. You will make profit there if you already know the right way.

So your waiting for Bitcoin and Ethereum price to go down is basically a trading action You can continue to wait for them or you can easily buy Bitcoin now and start trading. It's your choice.

They let you use their platform with demo money. If you profit more than you lose, then go for it with real BTC.

In theory, your saying is okay, but now he have serious problems in the market. Everybody waits for bitcoin to see what will exactly happen. I always try to write that this is not the correct time to get into trading now. Stay away please. The market is so mixed now.

because in bitcoin trading there is no risk to invest your money.
Yeah! To some extent you are right in this regard that trading involves risk. But there is nothing in this world that does not involve risk taking. All successful people had taken big risks in their lives. If we talk about bitcoins, they are only risky if you do trading with emotions.

But in fact as time goes by the price of altcoin even more hunted, and his choice now is, severapa long we are able to maintain the amount of investment altcoin that is owned

So convert your btc in the mean time in your fiat then after august convert it back to btc , it just good now that there's a wallet app in our country that can make this thing possible since were weren't sute what might happen in bitcoin after august 1 ,but panic selling will not be a good decision.

If we talk about bitcoins, they are only risky if you do trading with emotions.
Trading, whether you're an extremely capable trader or not, is always coming with high risks. If people let their emotions get the better of them on top of that, it's basically suicide. If we look at how people think about trading here on this forum, I get the impression that people see this as a fun option, or something that easily makes them a fair bit of money. I can tell you, it's no fun, and definitely not a way to easily generate money. People saying that are just delusional. There are a lot talkers here, but none of them ever puts their money where their mouth is.
