Can I use some of 7xx cards on Gigabyte P55 US3L mobo?

I am absolute hardware noob and never did mining.. however, it looks my card is near it's end and I would like to buy some card that I could use to mine something while I'm on PC anyway.

But since it's not really a month old pc or something like that I'm not sure if my mobo supports these new cards. It's Gigabyte P55 US3L, anyone with knowledge does it have all I need to install some of 7XX series on it?

And would mining with only that card require any other equipment or I'm OK to go with what I have, I'd use one card only so no extreme heating and so..
