I am looking for demographics. where btc is used most. We have just started accepting BTC
at our web hosting company that mainly sell VPS, Ded servers and Entrepreneur solution.
I am looking for some stats. please guide.

so Japan now is bitcoin leader China has left behind because of their current issue about bitcoins, Dominating country in the field of trading are Japan, USA and certain area's in Europe. |

yes china is a country that btc growth there very fast and they use it very old and very many miners btc there. so that btc turbulence in that country will have a big impact on the btc market in the world.

But with China out, Japan and South Korea is now the leader in trading volumes per 24 hours. I think Japan has now almost covered at least 50% of the total volumes and that is huge for a country such small as them. However, they really love bitcoin so its not quite surprise that they are trading that big amounts everyday. While there is a news that the South Koreans have banned ICO just like China, it hasn't affect the market at all. China is a country with miners and holders of Btc is so large that it is not surprising that the issue of the collapse of Btc in the country resulted in a big shock on the btc market in the world.

Of course Chinese would be the major bitcoin traders and miners here and as part of participants are more active in this forum. Chinese are the active players here from the beginning. Next giants are probably US, Japan, Asians also doing tradings and minings as well.
But I have heard something different about the china that they don’t like bitcoin and they are not using bitcoin anymore or they want to ban bitcoin. Now in a lot of the countries the bitcoin is gaining the high attention now the bitcoin forums are being the guide line for the trading forums a lot of the countries like the USA, United kingdom and the united state are trading in the bitcoin now. |

I haven't seen anyone who accepts BTC on Aliexpress and even with my supplier neglected to accept BTC few months back. I don't think Bitcoin is popular in China and now they banned totally. |

Bitcoin in China is not prohibited. It's just that the Chinese government is too wary of bitcoins now. It seems to me that despite all prohibitions, China remains the leader in the trade and production of bitcoin |

so Japan now is bitcoin leader Well, China dulled themselves looking for what is stolen where it isn't and Japan took the chance. This still does not mean BTC-YUAN market cannot still bounce back as I still have the feelings that most china traders eventually moved into trading JPY instead due to the China issue which cause that huge volume for the JPY trade but that does not make Japan the bitcoin leader, not like China was the bitcoin leader in the first place. |

Yes that can be a fact and i think that in present time the dominating country can be Japan who have already turn bitcoin as legal currency, although there are a lot of other countries where the users of bitcoin pare also more in number but still as japan legalize bitcoin therefore we can expect that the bitcoin users in japan will be more than any other country. |

We would not have expected anything less anyway. This is a technology zone and due to that, they can adapt to technology faster than any other country in the world. The reasons why we have huge mining rig set up in China today is as a result of their technology with bitmain leading in every way. We totally give them that! |

Once after the legalized usage Japan started to dominate the digital currency market. Moreover in the mean China too encountered several issues just because of the ICO. This made the user base believe that bitcoin market is found big over Japan. In my opinion Chinese people even now hold the majority of bitcoin in trading, because when one way gets closed they create another way to make use of it. |

There is no doubt that Japan is leading the way then US and South Korea. You can check it out in marketcap 24 Hour Volume Rankings (Currency). Yen, USD, Korean Won has the most volumes. Don't be shock by the sheer volumes these 3 countries. They are really very much active specially Japan who this year have legalized it already. And that's volumes will increase as more Japan exchanges are soon to be opened. And more stores globally will accept bitcoin as mode of payment. |
