They will never die dude, religions depend on our existence.

I disagree... religion is dying on the vine

Thanks to the internet, people can see how bullshit religions are

This "hockey stick graph" looks as bad as the one used to scare people about global warming

Pew Research Center says non-religion will be the top religious affiliation by 2050!

We see that it is the young people who have the lowest threshold of religiosity. The point is that today the modern world provides so many opportunities and so much debauchery that it does not allow us to compare it with religion. Therefore, young people make a choice in the direction of the modern world they are religion.

Is not really a destructive religion! But the people himself who can not appreciate one samalainIf we can respect each of the religions that exist in our world will not be much intersect which causes a great conflict. This is the truth! The world only has a very selfish person. That is what causes the war between religions!

I disagree... religion is dying on the vine

I am not sure about it. Most of the populaiton growth is occurring in countries such as India and Africa, where more than 99% of the population is religious. On the other hand in the western nations, and China the population is decreasing.

“No Religion” Is Now Officially Australia’s Top Religion

Australian citizens chose “no religion” more than any listed specific denomination on the nation's 2016 Census, making this the first time the “Nones” have overtaken Catholics in the country.

In 1966, only 0.8% of Australians chose "no religion".  In 50 years "no religion" has climbed from 0.8% to 29.6%!

The census data comes at an interesting time, when people all over Australia (and Europe and the U.S.) are worried about being overtaken by Muslims. In fact, some right-wing groups actually warned all citizens not to select the “no religion” option as it may lead to Australia becoming a “Muslim country” (somehow).

But not even a conservative fear campaign could stop non-believers in Australia from being heard. About 29.6 percent of Australians chose the “no religion” box — up from 22.6 percent in 2011 — and 9.6 percent chose not to answer the religion question at all.

The godless in Australia is a huge force to be reckoned with. Whether you’re an atheist, agnostic, humanist, rationalist, a free-thinker or even someone who considers themselves spiritual but not religious, you’re part of a powerful voting block [sic] that deserves to be heard.

Our political, business and cultural leaders must listen to the non-religious when we demand public policy that’s based on evidence, not religious beliefs. This includes policy on abortion, marriage equality, voluntary euthanasia, religious education in state schools and anything else where religious beliefs hold undue influence.

It may sound funny but, When a REAL GOD will show NOW and HEAL every sickness, STOPS the WAR, make everyone RICH and HAPPY,
then i will worship that GOD and all religions will die.
IF A REAL GOD Really shows in front of all the people and declare that HE IS GOD and shows MIRACLES and then declaring that
no religions is correct and no faith is correct.

well, that's impossible to happen.

In November 2015, the Christian Post reported
“Distinguished scholars from Baylor University on Tuesday decried the myth that religion is on the decline in America and argued that it's actually growing and is stronger than ever.

Professors from Baylor University's Institute for Religion Studies in Waco, Texas, participated in a panel discussion at the National Press Club focusing on the "secularization myth," where they lambasted the media's spin on various surveys which has led many to believe that irreligion is on the rise in the United States...

J. Gordon Melton, professor of American religious history, explained that although Mainline denominations have lost membership in recent years, the number of denominations in America has increased steadily since the 1960s. Now, there are over 1,000 denominations in the U.S.

Melton cited the Encyclopedia of American Religion and the 2010 American Religious Census to show that, as the American population has risen, church membership in America has risen at a much quicker rate.

Religions can not die, because many people need to believe in and support the traditions of their people. Of course religions will not control people so much, but they will not disappear.

Religion is like bitcoin if you did not take any attention it will die. Some religous being popular because people do to spread it like bitcoin too. Bitcoin being famous because there people much more know about this and they teach or give some information to others.

Religion will die. Always keep people in delusion impossible. The more educated a society is the less religious people. Therefore, the number of Christians is steadily declining, and in their place come the Muslims. Stupid ignorant people.

Religion is one of the greatest form of Art ever created. For the past centuries, these religions divided us, removing the essentials of being a human. I remember my professor once said, Christians in the spain are already decreasing because of their beliefs. Beliefs that will f-up the community. I really hate when Churches had something to say when a government plan is not in favor of them. In the future generation, religions will just be part of the history. Just like Art.

A Record 58% of People in Scotland Have No Religious Affiliation

Scotland has reached a new high when it comes to the percentage of the population with no religious faith.

Just last year, the number was at 52%. But a new survey released by ScotCen Social Research finds that the “Nones” now make up a whopping 58% of the country.

Quote
The new findings from Scotland’s most authoritative survey of public attitudes show that nearly six in ten (58%) now say that they have no religion, up 18 points on 1999 when the figure stood at four in ten (40%).

Young people are least likely to be religious; three quarters of young people (74% of 18-34s) say they have no religion compared with 34% of those over 65.

    …

Most of the decline in religious affiliation over this 17 year period has been felt by the Church of Scotland. Around half as many people (18%) now say they belong to the Church of Scotland as did in 1999 (35%).

The proportion of Roman Catholics (10%), other Christian affiliations (11%) and non-Christian religious people (2%) in the Scottish population has remained relatively stable over the same period.

Wrong! The survey suggests something else. Why? Because by the definition of the word religion ( http://www.dictionary.com/browse/religion?s=t ), everybody has religion just to be alive. Religion isn't gone. It is simply changing from, perhaps, a more formal one, to a less formal one.

Cool

All right. Maybe I could have said it better. But didn't you check out the definition? especially #6? If you don't have your own personal religion in life, you are a vegetable.

Religions made a lot of damage to human beings and our world in general. I'm not talking only about Islam, but every kind of religion, more or less, caused lots of problems.

I'm sure they will end. They won't last forever. But how will they end?

Which could the scenario that leads to their disappearance?
Religion is not dead, because as long as someone exists, it will support it, it is the birthplace of the people's faith.

IMO, the religiosity is increasing in the world. The population is declining in secular nations such as China, Japan, France, Germany.etc and is increasing in ultra-religious regions such as Pakistan, GCC, Sub-Saharan Africa.etc. Even a lot of immigrants are coming to the western nations from the religious nations.
