When will Religions die?

How many years before Jesus, Budha, or Allah won't come back from the death to plannet earth and start judging us before all the people start to realize that it was all a lie from the day 1. 1000 years, 10 000 years or 20 000 years?

Except for one thing. God isn't a lie. The fact of the existence of the kind of universe that we have shows that God is real. The universe can't exist without some Great Intelligence making it. We call this Intelligence "God."

Religions made a lot of damage to human beings and our world in general. I'm not talking only about Islam, but every kind of religion, more or less, caused lots of problems.

I'm sure they will end. They won't last forever. But how will they end?

Which could the scenario that leads to their disappearance?

Actually religion exist to explain what can't be explained. Ancient times they worshipped the sun m mainly because they don't know that it is just a ball of has. They have a concept of a creator to explain how the world is created. They also have a concept of salvation to explain what would happen to us after we die. Will religion die? No, but it will change, it will evolve as we too evolve and be enlightened

Science still doesn't know for a fact that the sun is a ball of gas. When they say that it is, because they don't know it for a fact, they have a religion going for themselves.

nothing can kill religions, there are so many religions now a days, and every religion has one perpose, it is to share the good news to everyone, but sometimes the leaders of this religion are already corrupted, by greed, lust and everything. That is why i do believe that no religion can save you, only your own relationship to The Creator, The Father, the most high can save you. many religions claim that only through them can we all be save, only just by joining their religion that you will be truly save, how cruel that would be.

Internet can definitely shutdown anything, information shared through the masses with insane speeds can definitely shutdown any religion, religion is still relevant today because not every human being is a internet surfer yet, a time will come when information is vastly shared for everyone's access enough to make them question if what they believe in is actually true, some may survive but still when they've got kids, their kids will be the most curious ones and will not believe anything until they've doubted it completely.

The Internet is one of the greatest ways that religions are spreading these days.

Technology and knowledge will kill religion in the future. Some of those religions are not really religion and would just confuse their followers into following them, preventing them from reasoning out because it was what was written. Some of them are already a cult and not a religion because of they themselves are skeptic of what they want to believe.

I am not against any religions but sometimes if you keep on following them you are not really shaping your self but them misleading you.

But technology and knowledge will never be able to answer all the questions. Rather, they are becoming a religion in themselves. In fact, they are starting to prove that religion is right.

A better question is how will they end... I don't think that's gonna happen in near future, especially with some heavy based religious people.
Religion did a lot of damage, yeah but it's about a human beings and our nature for conflict.I don't think that religion should die, instead, it can not be taken that seriously and waged wars for that etc...
Ok, someone says i believe in God, i believe in Allah or any other deity or whatever, that does not mean i should kill someone for believing in something other than me.Religion...a weapon for mass control.

The internet may be a way to get more followers for their Religion, but another way to look at it (just speculation) is that they're resorting to technology because their traditional way isn't working anymore, meaning religions are getting weaker. AND for the "anti-religion" type of people for the very first time has the most efficient tool which is technology and internet. Physicists like Michiu Kaku, Neil deGrasse Tyson has greatly influenced the humans to rethink their beliefs. Thanks to the internet ain't it? and that to me is progress.
The death of religions for me is for the people to start losing faith in whatever god they have.

religion will never die until the world ends. religion is something that continues alongside humans. religion is created to improve human life in this world but many stupid humans make mischief by carrying the name of their religion, so that its religious name becomes bad. should be in blame not his religion but that should be in blame is the person who made the mistake because all religions teach good things.

If you take any good thing like medicine it can be used for good and for bad.  The same thing with  religion. It is not said in Bible and Karan to kill people for your faith. People just do that because of lust of power and fanaticism.

Religions do die and when that happens the people tend to take on a new one that suits them or that they believe in, The people of ancient Greece used to worship Zeus and the other gods but since Christianity and Islam came they have all moved on to that rather.

religion will not disappear as long as future generations will run it. religion and belief isolate people so religion is done. There are different beliefs they follow that do not apply to another religion. it would probably have disappeared if there was a clarity with each other that no longer had the need to have religion for characterizing one another.

Religion wont die. As long as their are people who believe in God or in Allah, religion will continue.
Also, people caused a lot of damages and problems, not religion. As the saying goes by, people come and go but religion will stay.

Religion is the only way that shows how to lead every step of life. If religions die, the existence will also die. But when people will stop believing in religion, everything will destroy.
