Can anyone confirm if they actually bought bitcoins for less than $5.00? in this huge selloff?

Holy crap what was that??? Anyone managed to buy when it was crazy-low? Didn't have any mt-gox $ (like always when it's low Sad  ). The other markets where not affected, Gox have some serious problems..

Looking for an easy way to charge bitcoins at: houseofreplicas.net, high quality replica watches. Using WP with the E-shop plug-in at the moment for charging credit-cards.

Why would anyone sell 261.000 bitcoins for 1 cent instead of cashing out slowly? Makes absolutely no sense.

I was wondering something like this was going on. Look at the volume increase. Last night it was around 50,000. Now it's up to 550,000

Can't do that currently. But in case MtGox really got hacked this time I withdrew my BTC.

I did the same. damn... wish i had a standing trade at $.01 now...

Someone else can order, but the public can't?

I was able to place a buy order but it did not end up in the order book till the massive sell off finished.

Maybe it was similar to that stock market crash where someone accidently added in an extra decimal or something, crashing the market short term.

I just wonder if anybody who had orders in actually received bitcoins.

Personally you gotta be crazy to do anything with mt. gox.

I only hope it's not a hack. If someone managed to break into the database, they could just give themselves millions of coins regardless of the bitcoin client. Then they would be selling numbers in the database instead of coins...

Bitalo.com coming soon!
