Thanks, Please PM me with payment details, I got a little lost with the process of payment in the tread. Will you be providing any services, eg: someone releases some custom software or an over clocking hack, will you have a mailing list and PM your clients?

If I were to connect 2 of these asics to a raspberry pi how many watts will my "rig" consume? i think it is 5W per unit so 2x 5w = 10watts plus raspberry pi wattage

Yo. Mineforeman. You still in the biz of running things for people in the South-of-equator lands? If so I'm inclined to buy another one and have it stuffed into the box sent to you (if you are having things sent from ~arklan in the US to yourself in NZ.)
If 8 (or fewer) other people got interested, maybe we could do one of those cool looking little USB stick things running off a ras-pi. For a little while until these things become obsolete at least.

I got to the point where I figured out how to input a message, but what serves as the signature? My forum name, a set of numbers? What should I input on the message? Forgive me, but I have never sent a signed message using this feature.
In your Bitcoin client, double-click the payment transaction, and copy the transaction ID. Visit http://blockexplorer.com/tx/[your transaction ID]. On that page, copy the top "From address". Enter that in the top field under File->Sign Message. The program will verify that you own the private key to that address, and generate a signature for the message you typed in, which should include your shipping address. @ tvbcof and Klestin thanks. I still don't understand the mechanisms involved. To be honest there should be an illustrated video highlighting how this works and how to use the feature. I think I got it, however I have multiple from addresses, i presume it is ok to just enter 1 of them to generate the message?

I hate to sound stupid, but how would I NOT maintain ownership of the address you sign with? Also should I be able to verify my own message (I have QT v0.8.1) When I create the message I get a confirmation " Message signed" When I try and verify my own message I using that info (checked for exact characters and spaces) I get " Message verification failed" Am I missing something?

Most of the time it seems that you are able to get it back. I've no direct experience myself, but have seen the more technically inclined (and generous with their time) people lend assistance. You've got some time to hack at it, and 1.5 BTC is some reason to do so as well. I suggest you make a backup of the wallet file before doing anything else, and break out a notepad to keep track of the things you've done.

I hate to sound stupid, but how would I NOT maintain ownership of the address you sign with? Lost or corrupted wallet and no viable backup.

I guess it is probably unusual, but I've sold entire wallet files. Probably not relevant to this topic. A much much much more common way is to have a wallet file stolen from your computer. Even more common than that would be to sign up for an on-line wallet or other Bitcoin related venture and have the proprietors fold up shop with the secret keys that the users (incorrectly) considered their own That has been repeated ad-naseum since at least right after I got actively involved and the 'mybitcoin' scam went down.

If you send it directly from MtGox or Coinbase or some other exchange that maintains the private key to the wallet holding your coins, you won't be able to sign it.
